hi
you uploaded chapter 128 instead of 127, the chapter 127 on batoto is the 128th one.
127 seems to be skipped.
btw, there's no thread about bakuman to discuss, like tog and other stuff.

I uploaded 127, edited 128 so it gets listed as 128. As for the forum, it's created if you make a request...I guess this counts as one
Only admins can create subforums so i guess you have to wait a bit more

well, i just saw that there was no subforum.
its not like i want to discuss something there, so don't see my notification as request.
i prefer beeing suprised by new chapters instead of making predictions of what may happen.

Forum added. Not a big bother adding one. Big bother adding 100s. xD That's why lot of them doesn't have a forum yet. I should probably get around to making it automated someday... somehow...

mangatoshokan has this feature...or you could let a couple of other people create subforums

Not entirely sure what you're implying by saying MT has this.
Unfortunately, the task necessary to make a thread automatically on MT vs automatically creating a forum here is quite different. Where the forum needs to be made under, what permission set the forum needs, synchronizing with invision's forum structure, etc are all issues that a thread does not carry as they are properties of forums and not a thread. I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying it'll take it's time.
Conversely, allowing public to do that securely poses exact same problems but with more security issues.
Allowing secured individuals (ie, admins) to do that is viable at the moment... But, I guess I'm the only one half-willing atm. xD
PS. Was that bunny really distracting?

I wasn't implying anything. I used it as an example.
And yeah, it was. To be honest I couldn't pay attention to what you wrote because HE'S EATING A BANANA xD

Would it be preferable for us to make a discussion thread for each instead of a subforum? Then the more active threads could be expanded into subforums, while mangas not generating discussion will not have near-empty forums just sitting there.

Not really. I think the best way is to create subforums. If you want consistency you need to have the same setup for all of them. onemanga uses the system you mentioned and, to be honest, i think it's weird and confusing.
There aren't a lot of manga on the reader atm so for now i doubt it's a priority. Grumpy can just create a forum when someone makes a request.

Like shin said, I've seen lot of thread based ones and it's really terrible. Navigation or organization within them is just a complete chaos. I would like to continue the sub-forum system.
Right now, if anyone posts in the "other comic" forum, I plan to make a sub forum then. So, pretty much the idea of needs breeds actions. Right now, the need to populate unpopular manga just doesn't exist.

Oh really? I'm not familiar with a system that works with threads, so I didn't realize it would be so messy. I was just picturing several forums with only a 'latest chapter discussion' thread. Forums for everything does sound much neater, then. ^^
