I just tried to watch kubera 22, which didn't even load after like 10 minutes.
I downloaded it instead, but seems like other comics won't load either.

Is it only me with this problem?

I have no problems with reading Kubera chapter 22, so it might be just you.

If your connection times out while loding a page it will only load again if you refresh. Which means: if it doesn't load after a while it won't load at all (by itself).

I joined the IRC chat just a secound befor, and found the cause of my problem.
It seems, that a google ad doesn't load correctly and makes the whole loading-process stuck.

The particular ad is "pagead2.googlesyndication.com".
Turning ad-blocker on would make the kubera chapter appear.

Hmm... that's really odd. I'm not sure what google ad has anything to do with chapter appearing... Chapter images are written in plain HTML regardless of what happens with google ads...

Could you tell me what browser you're using? What kind of adblock you're using, OS, any other info you think might be helpful.

Currently, I am unable to duplicate your experience under any browser (IE, Opera, FF, Chrome).

Im using Firefox 4.0, Windows 7 32 bit and my adblocker is ABP.

I made 2 Screenshots, with and w/o adblocker

I suspect that that the problem has something to do with the Ads, that google selects depending where the visitors live..
But thats just an ordniary person's suspicion

Well, I know that my code won't prevent you from loading the page regardless of what happens to the ads. And considering that it works for most (if not all minus you), it's probably isolated. So, I did some research...

From what I'm finding it is often caused by something like anti-virus or anti-spyware tools detecting google ads. Once it detects them, it gives a (sorta) false positive as a spyware and stops the page from loading. Your browser doesn't know what's going on, so it says "loading" forever; it's waiting for a response that was hijacked by another process of yours.

If you have spyware monitors, try turning them off. Or try reinstalling them (uninstall and reinstall, repair's not really the same). It may solve your problems. If not, well, u can just keep the adblock on.
