I dunno if it is the best place to post this buuuuuuuut.......

 

I'll be new to this awesome game (because my bro is downloading and updating it, once that is done, we will copy it to my pc so that i have no need to update and shait.)

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo, any friendly advice? And it is the American one. FREE LION!!!

Also just by the info provided by the official page, so I did not look for anything like which race is best for what and stuff, I do not work that way jose~, the races and classes that I would like to have are:

Races: High elf, Elin, Popori, Castanic, and Amani. maybe human.

Classes: Gunner, Mystic, Priest, Slayer, Sorcerer and Warrior.   c:

 

My account is under the same name as here! It would be nice to know or have Batoto people in there!

Free Accounts have very few character slots. If I'm not mistaken, you'll only have 2 slots.

Gunners and Slayers are fun overall.

Berserkers are good in PvE.

Slayers are PvP monsters.

Warriors have that mother*ucking Backstab+Stun+Stun Cascade+high critrate=stupidly unfair.

I have a  Veteran account so I have all classes and have played all of them.

However I am on EU server -.- stupid GameForge, sucks absolutely.

No, EnMasse is the better of publishers. EU has GameForge.

We have non-existent TechSupport, no GMs, sometimes get a 1month ban randomly if you pay with PayPal, no chat moderators, Veteran Accounts get only the basic benefits unlike in NA with EnMasse which gave them unique mounts and so on. Oh, and let's not get started on the way they handle the TERA Shop, the prices, bundles, items... then there are events, keeping players up to date with news, community managers... EU is just a hellhole compared to what EnMasse does in TERA.

Gunner is a lot of fun, yes

To make a Reaper you need a lvl 40+ character, in order to unlock Reaper. Reapers start at lvl 50 and in about half an hour they're lvl 58 and then it's normal leveling to 65.

Berserkers are very newbie friendly because of their high damage and block ability, and Lancers for block and high endurance.

Slayers are high endurance faster berserkers but they can't block.

I avoid playing Sorcerer, Warrior and Mystic because of their skills that are all over the place messy, no real theme to them.

Others classes I really enjoy playing and Slayers just deal so much damage...

D: Then I take that back! (About ENMasse) Yeah they are giving free lion mount here when you sign up, so I has a lion! yayy!

I haven't installed it yet, because we haven't exchanged all of the parts of the installer and also because.. GTA IV on pc.... Mods....Fun fun time!

But I will. And then too bad Gameforge is mean there....

Weeelllll I am really looking forward to play this game (or at least see that I can run it).

It's a lot of fun, really. Very satisfying gameplay

 

There is 7 races.

Amani, Baraka, Castanic, Elin (female only), High Elf, Human, Popori (male only).

 

There are 10 classes (divided into armor categories)

Robes: Mystic, Priest, Sorcerer

Leather: Archer, Reaper, Slayer, Warrior

Metal: Berserker, Gunner, Lancer

 

With two classes being race/gender exclusive.

Reaper: Elin Only

Gunner: Female Only, Castanic and High Elf

 

Each race, gender and class have unique looking armors and unique looking animations. So there is a lot of combinations to chose from.

And the character customization is simple and diverse

Also, on NA servers your character can have two names if I am not mistaken. Unlike in the wretched EU, cursed GameForge scum... If say the name you want is taken but you really want it, then just add a dot and then more. Example: Jack.Frost

All that sounds really cool!!! Too bad I would only be able to make 2 characters ToT I wanna try everything!!

And am not sure if I would be able to run it to at least be playable, I mean I got the trash for gaming, a Intel Celeron (2 cores, 1.86 GHz each) which is only very good for working, RAM: 3.87 Gb, and Windows 8.1.................... Soooooooooooo I dunno I play warcraft 3 smoothly. So yeah, am on this dilemma: Will I be able to run it?

I used to play TERA for a year with

AMD Athlon 64 3200+

GeForce 8800GT 512MB

2,5GB DDR400 RAM

 

I played the game on 10-20 fps.

If you want to get into raid parties very quickly, then choose lancer.

 

Remember, in this game and probably a lot of others too, money comes first, favorite character is second. Unless, of course, your favorite will be the lancer.

wouldnt the NA server be better, since they seem to prioritize that, or is the ping horrible?

NA is prioritized by some because EU service is absolute shit and the TERA Shop (real money store) in EU gives things in RNG boxes, while NA sells them as items instead of random box chance.
That being said, I never once had to contact support and I don't use TERA Shop. Also GMs are not present on EU but I never needed them either.

But TERA is a skill-based game, not something like WoW where you have someone aimed and then mash skill buttons.

 

In TERA everything you do must be aimed and hit, as if you're playing say... Skyrim or Diablo III. Weapons and Magic need to actually hit the other player if you want to do any damage and each class can block or dodge in several ways as well. So I'd say ping is very important.
