Mmm I've been talking to a past scanlator who worked on WtR 305, and I have a question to the readers:

If you haven't noticed, I don't translate every sfx (sound effects) written in the original webtoon. I translate ones I think matters to the storyline, and leave the rest in korean. (since they're mostly noise anyways)

This is one of the reasons why I was able to work so fast. (effectively reducing scanlating time by factor of three to five on average believe it or not)

However, perhaps not translating all the sfx does injustice to the webtoon. Should I start translating every sfx in the webtoon?

I need feedback. Go go go-

I don't think how you're doing it is uncommon at all. Many scanlators do exactly that, TL the most pertinent sfx and leave the rest.......for that matter there's plenty that don't TL "any" of the sfx.........I haven't noticed the first problem with understanding and enjoying your scanlations.

Yeah, same here. I didn't even realize.

On a side note, how do you pronounce Rose's name? Is it an English name? If so, why?

Thanks for your translations!

Rose's name is pronounced "Jang Mi", which means Rose in Korean.

Rose's name is pronounced "Jang Mi", which means Rose in Korean.

Ahhh, thanks for that, I'd kinda wondered about her name. I guess it's a case of some names translating into corresponding English names and some not doing so.

Hello terrytree! ^_^

Well in fact i didn't notice it myself until you just mention it, so for me isn't a problem at all! The way you've been doing it 'til now is perfectly fine for me, so good job on that and congrats for your efforts! :)

You´re doing an awesome job just like you are now so why change it? Leaving one or two sfx untranslated isn´t going to affect the story IMHO
