I feel kind of bad for all the high quality works (especially Yozypost's Maschenny, Nyava-chan's Voile and Alacia's Hwa Ryun!) hardly getting any votes because people can only vote for one thing. I'm sure if they had more, the distribution of votes would be different.
Anyway, it's awesome how a contest like this is enough to make so many people create so much cool stuff.

Well,to be honest I was expecting more (artistic) entries seeing the hype ToG got here.

Wooty: another not-so-veiled insult.Voted for skitty-nya.

But, seriously: most people aren't that confident in their drawing skills to produce art on a dime, you know. Let alone knowing they're going to be judged on it. <shrugs>
I've nothing but respect for the small proportion of any fanbase that does put their art forward for these kind of things.

~:Euo will do instead of my whole handle:~
Scanlation-author collaboration not possible? Nope: it's doable... try Trace and vote with your feet to try to get more like this.

Raising the bar is one way to improve your skill, that's what I thought when I joined the contest. Now I'm failing hard, but I'm already motivated to try again in the next contest. hahaha

My comment wasn't meant to be an insult, veiled or not. You can only insult another person if you're considerably good yourself in that field. I don't know how to draw, so insulting others is something not within my reach.Wooty: another not-so-veiled insult.
I never said I don't have respect for them. It's just that I was expecting more artworks considering how over reactive people here are for ToG. ToG has way too much hype, it always had (& please I'm in no mood to start a debate here....A debate is always endless, but on Batoto, rules of debate are different for ToG.A debate will end if people are criticising it.. You provide a single good reason, they will give you hundred counter-attacks, and you will regret why you ever opened your mouth). But, seriously: most people aren't that confident in their drawing skills to produce art on a dime, you know. Nice color scheme for the picture, it looks dull and saturated, it adds up with the warm feeling you get in christmas when your not outside the blistering cold. (Had some bad time with winter back in 8th grade)
Glad you didn't place the characters dead center. You have the stockings pointing at them which as they are the focal point. Good use of vertical and repetitive line element in background, it does well to create a calming rhythm to the overall work.
I could tell that you've planned this very well, and you have presented the mood and atmopsphere/story of the artwork consistently. I could go on and on about this for a while, but i'm just going to skip a head and say: Very Well Done.
Oh yeah, Its confusing, but is the wall a wall or are they in a jail cell?
Edit: This image is not exactly very eye catching (saturated colors/low contrast goes well with the mood but not color poppin'tastic to catch your viewers attention, personally i like the way it is.) , and many probably didn't take their time looking at it or just skimmed through it.I'm glad that i did take my time, once you do, the mood in the piece will be quite obvious.

Some of these are really commendable. Good luck to all participants. I'll vote for my second best choice since the first won't be needing my help it seems.
