I've been meaning to ask since I've come upon this manga quite often, how bad is the gender bender? Is it used throughout the whole series or just in the beginning? I ain't no fan of gender bendism(lol?) so I just wanted to know if I should start this manga if it is a big part of the manga.

Gender bending is used mostly in the beginning, but kissing remains the whole time. And you should start reading this manga even if you didn't like some part of it. Dropping a series just because a boy becames a girl isn't cool at all.

Personally I think the tag should be removed...

There are instances in which gender-bender does occur, but it's not enough or even focused on even be considered a "genre".
I'd vehemently deny that "gender-bender" is a genre for this manga.

Just because Jiraiya died, doesn't make Naruto a tragedy now does it?

Gender-bender is used to refer to series in which the main character (or their significant foil) does one of the following:
-Tries to trick people into thinking they are of the opposite sex
-Imitates behavioral stereotypes of the opposite sex
-Crossdresses
-Is transgendered or similar
-Their spirit possesses someone of the opposite sex
-They swap bodies with someone of the opposite sex

Since the last happens quite frequently, YES, it's a gender-bender.

And the OP can shimmy their preference for stereotyped gender roles elsewhere.

Well it is counted as a gender bender since they are bodyswitching and they are doing it currently through the series but I have stopped counting it as a gender bender since long ago, because it feels more like a body swap and it does'nt necesarliy have to do with the opposite gender even that is the main situation here but I think this is a good kind of gender bender and not the bad kind. Read the series and see for yourself ^^

Not band since they don't really change. They are still themselves mentally. They don't become more masculine or feminine like most gender benders and they are not stuck in that form. Its only body swapping and they only swap to get some stuff done for example Yamada is bad in school and Urara is excellent so they swap so she could take his tests to get his grades up.

I'm only now reading / catching up the back chapters of this title (almost caught up, yayyyy!!!) and FudgeNouget is right, this isn't "genderbender" as it's normally thought of. Body swap, yeah, gender bender (?) no, not really.

It doesn't bother me for the tag to be there though, some people take this "genre" accuracy thing way too seriously and personally.

It is gender bender in the same spirit that Ranma 1/2 is: the bodies change, but the characters and their personalities don't.

even if this is gender bender, the way it's used is hardly a reason to worry. it's mainly for comedic purposes, which works really well btw. don't judge, just read.

Well, thanks all of you pretty much answered my question.
Although, I do believe men should be men and women should be women.
I don't mind an MC cross-dressing in a chapter for comedic purposes, since it's not gonna last.
I was just asking since from the description of the manga, it didn't say if they went back to their original bodies,
so I thought they were gonna stay like that, and then it would've of been a problem for me(I don't know why, but maybe because, I, as a man don't feel comfortable reading through the perspective of females) . If they just swap here and there like most people have said, then I shouldn't have a problem.
But I'll just read and find out.

Regards
