Well, technically speaking Dragon Ball was the first manga I've read.

But if you meant manga in the broad sense of the word, then the first BD I read was Bob et Bobette, in French, Suske en Wiske, in Dutch.


Lol, then I would change mine to Suske & Wiske or maybe Kuifje..

Love Hina introduced me to the world of manga and made me fall for the romance genre. It's still my most-read series to this day simply since it evokes a feeling of familarity within me like no other manga does.

Mine was...sigh. It was Fruits Basket, just like every other middle-school girl. But then I think I quickly got tired of its drama, so really, Hikaru no Go should count as the first manga I read.

No. Wait! I don't know! I got interested in manga because my friend was, and I watched more anime at first, mostly Naruto. So I read some Naruto in the Shounen Jump they had in my school's library, which is where I came across Hikaru no Go (and I thought both Sai and Akira were girls). But, I may also have read some of the manga my friend had, like Immortal Rain...

A friend of mine brought a copy of Jump to school and I instantly got hooked on Hikaru no Go because I was into chess at the time.

I tried reading Bleach but it didn't work. Beelzebub was the first one I actually followed all the way to the latest chapter, cos it was funny as hell XD

Spider Man, the first comic Ive read in primary school, cause they had it in the library and it just was just so awesome back then.
Few years later Naruto, the first manga I read cause the anime was too slow for me
