Sorry if there was already a thread like this I couldn't find it.

I can't remember the 1st manga I ever read I was to young to care just learning to read but the 1st American comic I read was some old Charlie Brown my dad had boxed up after going through them I found some Calvin & Hobbes to read as well.

So what was the 1st manga/comic you ever read?

The first one I ever downloaded was DNAngel when Aku-tenshi was scanlating it, but then my sibling deleted it off my computer before I could read it and tattled to my parents that I was downloading. :batoto_012:

Prince of Tennis was the first one I ever downloaded and actually read.

First manga I ever read (as in just flipping some pages) was Dragon Ball.

First manga I ever started reading seriously, that got me into reading manga overall, was Ranma½.

First manga I ever finished was probably ummm...Love Hina, maybe?

It seems most people started with mainstream manga maybe I should start a poll on this thread listing many mainstream manga from various generations.

Edit: never mind the poll only allows 30 that is not nearly enough to list even action manga

Probably Glass Mask/Garasu no Kamen...........I'd watched one of the anime versions of it and knew the ending was hokey and made up.......not at all fitting with the overall story...........so I started searching for information about it and found more of it (the real thing, the manga version) on an online reader site........been reading online scanlated manga ever since. Though I'd probably read other licensed manga earlier than that, Ranma 1/2 comes to mind, believe it or not found it in a local public library.

Not even telling about first comic book, it'd date me too badly. xD

Well, technically speaking Dragon Ball was the first manga I've read.

But if you meant manga in the broad sense of the word, then the first BD I read was Bob et Bobette, in French, Suske en Wiske, in Dutch.
