Frinia Royal Palace
Frinia Training Yard
"My treasure you say...", the old man lowered his blade... That's right. He has been a warrior for so long, he forgot about the ones he left behind. The giant spirit avatar behind him began to fade into light.
"My grandchildren of course... How it pains me that I did not even consider them, 'Frinia' this, 'Frinia' that...", Serin would know of these grandchildren. Two of them, their parents had died already from the war, and as Armand would have told her from beyond her cell, they were the last things he had left in this world, no other family to speak of.
"You got me. This palace falls... I know of you all, the 'God Slayers' as everyone has taken to calling you. Destroying Eidolons that cannot be destroyed by normal methods... Somehow, are easily destroyable by you lot... I know not your secret, and I do not care... The one that you seek here in the palace is on the rooftop, a passageway in the throne room leads to it. The location of the passageway is easy, but you will need a royal seal to enter", he explained. He slipped off a ring from his hand and threw it at Yoshirou. Upon it was the royal seal of Frinia.
"Tell my king that I have gone into retirement... You may pass...", as he said this, everyone said their thanks or other comments to him before moving on, but only one person was stopped.
"Except you Sofis... My talk of seeing your resolve was no joke", Sofis would turn and be thrown a training sword.
"But I have no intention of dying either, after all I must look to my grandchildren... Show me how far you've come in all the years you've been absent", looks like it was going to be a friendly spar between the two.

Frinia Royal Palace, East Entrance
The battle raged, but between Aran and Caspian, their levels of stamina were far different, plus the intimidating and oppressive aura and 'magic' that surrounded Caspian, made it impossible to sustain battle with him for so long. It began with slower reflexes, his Avatar managed to make up for it, but eventually his mind would falter too as fatigue took over, he would take grazing blows, and until finally, Caspain delivered the blows that would end his resistance, bringing Aran to his knees, barely breathing as he stuck his spear into the ground to try and keep himself standing, but the demon would knock that spear aside with a mere kick, before bringing his blade to rest upon his neck. The choice was his now... Would this man die? Or would he be spared? The battle throughout the rest of the castle was about to end, but here Caspian had the choice to end one of their generals or not. Aran himself was resigned to his fate, his eyes spoke of regret, but his body spoke of pride.
"Do it... For my king, and my country... I have fought, and if I must die, then I shall... But if you must, please tell me your name. So that I may curse and wait for you on the other side for another bout...", he said. His pride as a warrior was the only thing he had left at this point, besides his life, but he looked prepared for his fate. He was young and brash, but in his final moments he was showing a resolve to meet whatever may come. So what will it be?

Frinia Palace Interior
The situation seems to have died down... The Magidroids that were alongside the courtyard party heard all of Armand's words, and the castle was almost completely theirs. Everything seemed to end peacefully... But where was the Frinian King? The machine hivemind King had an idea, that the Frinian King was with the Eidolon. Well, they were about to find out soon as Yoshirou and his party made their way into the palace. Most soldiers were knocked out, others wounded to the point of being unable to fight, but it looks like fatalities for the most part were kept minimal.
