alphapolis still has no start date but has "連載再開のため準備中です" so it should restart eventually.

just went to AK's site. apparently this series was planned to hiatus until around post-summer, but seeing that we're deep into not-summer, i'm already asking them.

Where on earth was Gai during Mira's birthday?

It's minor things like this that makes it impossible for childhood friends to become lovers XD.

EDIT: Just finished reading LN Chapter 7.  Now I regret even making this comment.

Ch 7 of the LN translation more or less confirmed my previous theory

To be fair, there is nothing in the chapter to suggest that their calendar is the same as ours. Just because it is the 12th month there doesnt mean there are only 12. Likewise, the die used for weeks has a total of 6 sides so there could be up to 6 weeks in a month. I have no idea how they do months with 6 sided die though. If it starts at 0 it can only go up to 5, meaning that they can have months 1-5, 10-15, 20-25, 30-35, 40-45, and 50-55, but nothing in between, like months 6-9 and so on...

Yup, the calendar is  bit different since a year only had exactly 336 days
Quoting the light novel:

Also the extent of her cheat could be seen probably in the next chapter.......

I see. Was wondering how could she fit the digits after 5 because the guy beside her only mentions the number was up to 5, and then she mentions it was for counting weeks. so i thought it worked differently in their world. then comes the final product which seems to be no different with our calendar system lol.

I guess it is something trivial that needs the novel to patch things up then

Still don't believe it's a "cheat"... she could just act as if she's really clever and nobody would question it.

Her 'cheats' so far are not something you can use being clever as justification. (insane magic power, all elements aptitude, can see AND converse with spirits)

As RoflCat said. 1 example for you to easy relate.

in Manga, she think of concentrate mana to penetrate Mana Eater Skin (a monter that list as supper dangerous, if you meet one, you can only run away), that was a power saving methol and effect but no-one ever think about it yet.

In our world, if a 6 years old child can think of and develop a project that more advance than any technologies nowadays. Can she tell the goverment that she is really clever and no-one question about it ?

Answer is no, the goverment will protect her as national treasure genius, the world will give her the Nobel prize.

Omg, it's sooo cute!! If only I could be the main character, haha.

Oh man, she's gonna have such a harem. Even the craziest male reincarnation protags don't start with 4 tiny female fairies and a childhood friend.

Not that it's a bad thing, the series is super adorable and fun. It's about time the female protags in these stories starting having harems too. It'll just be funny to watch her grow up and slowly acquire an army of super loyal, handsome guys. Her reactions are gonna be great.

I really hope all the spirit will turn back into their chibi form,  they're a lot cuter in that form mmm...

2 dices, first one is 0-5, second one 0 1 2 6 7 8

Basically she can do the first 9 months by flipping the other die to 0 and the current die to appropriate number (9 can be replicate by upside down 6)

And for 10+ months, she use one die at 1 + the other.

So in reality she can go up to 32 months if she want (3 on the first die + 0/1/2 on the second, 33 is when it becomes impossible to do with those 2 dices)

So... All people get assigned a random amount of power at birth. How is having an unusually strong one a cheat?

Also: When people telepathically talk to her, why does she see letters? That must be most unpractical.

The usage of the term 'Cheat' in Japan is different than western world.

They seem to work under 2 primary conditions.

1. the character's power is unique/breaking the rule of the world.

2. the power is obtained without effort from the character itself.

For example (going to spoiler since it spoils other series)

Spoiler

As for why the spirits' words show up as letter, this is just my speculation.

Most likely since spirit themselves doesn't actually speak human language (thus the need to use writing in that naming chapter), what they send is 'intention' through their magic power, and her own subconscious translate that intention into words she understand.

The contract probably work as a connection between them so the message is clearer.

Think of it as the spirits sending radio waves and Mira has the radio receiver inside her, then when she made the contract they switched to a fiber optics.

Why are you trying to establish a base-5 system for a fucking manga?

this manga is just too cute >w>>>>>>>>> TOO CUTE

Also: When people telepathically talk to her, why does she see letters? That must be most unpractical.
Also: How very nice that this totally unrelated fantasy world uses seven-days-long weeks, four-weeks-long months and twelve-months-long years. Because there are lots of cultures even on earth that don't do that (are there even two different ones who came up with this?), and those at least would have the excuse of living on a planet that has years with the exact same duration as us.

Wait, why would it need two dices for days in the week?

Isn't it just seven in total?

Maybe you mean in the month?

EDIT: and i just realized dice only have 6 sides...

Man, it felt really wasteful to use two dices just so you can have 7 numbers...

But there is really no other way, is there?

Maybe if we change the order of 9 to 7?

0,1,2,3,4,5,6,9,7,8,10,11...

Still don't believe it's a "cheat"... she could just act as if she's really clever and nobody would question it.
