This mangaka's works always make me just wanna go back to sleep for the day. God, so depressing, but also really real.
Hi, I ordered the books from Japan, so I'm going to wait until they arrive rather than keep using the same raws. So it might be awhile before the next release.
In the meantime I'll have a few one page comics by Abe Tomomi and some unrelated translated short stories on my translation group site: http://ninjinningen.wordpress.com/
Thanks for reading!
Shit raws.
these pointless days that make you wanna kys are so pointless it's enough to wanna kys that they're days that make you not wanna kys to death
or to parse it easier, just take out the "wanna kys" parts.
these pointless days are so pointless that they're not.
Sooo am I the only one commenting on scan quality? Like they've been resized at wrong aspect ratio or something.
That is some high-level roleplay.
Hi, I have some comments on the title.
The first part "Shinitaku naru Shoumonai Hibi ga Shinitaku naru kurai Shoumonakute Shinu" means something along the lines of "The boring days that make you want to die are so boring that you'll want to die, so you will die."
But the second part, (which shares a word with the first) "Shinuhodo Shinitakunai Hibi." means "The days where you really don't want to die so much that you could just die."
So it doesn't translate too well, and I've talked to Japanese native speakers that say it's confusing for them too!
You say that, but by my count this would come in second place in that list, at least by character count. I'm not going to count syllables but I think it'd still take about fourth place.
And on top of that this title is a bit twisty. Not like a tongue-twister, but in the sense that it doubles back on itself confusingly. Kind of like Bilbo Baggins' memorable line: "I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."
Except, y'know, in this case with a lot more focus on wanting to/wanting not to die.
I definitely thought it was Winter until I noticed the uniforms and the excessive sweat wiping LOL I mean, yeah all those things in ever page looked like snowflakes.
Thanks for picking this up
Welp, since this seems to be compilation of one shot we won't see that cute gender bender ghost again mmm...
So, I presume this is a collection of one-shots like Sora ga Haiiro Dakara?
That's why you should never say "No matter what" or "I'll accept anything".
gaah. the longest manga title ive ever meet ._.
Just call it ShiShiShi...
