Saiteihen no Otoko -Scumbag Loser-

As a scumbag, I felt my whole being touched by this work. It wholly stirred nearly every shape of self-loathing and fear I hold in my mind, and let me have a disgusting, long look at a grotesque, hyperbolized scumbag, who I could nevertheless sympathize with.
My only regret is that it took me so long to come across this manga. This was enthralling.

It also skipped around a lot after he got his powers.  IT was a lot of confusing pages and Idk what happened when he formed this "squad" and then where did his "squad' go?

I read Chapters 1-13 a few weeks ago, and then come to the final chapter 14+Bonus.....

What the....?

It wasn't really a good ending, I was disappointed.  I love the other Mangaka's works (Dead Tube is a masterpiece), but it seems this Mangaka has a thing with ending manga early/randomly.

I feel it barely touched the surface.  Just a few kids changing, then finding out all about these "demons" and then finally learning "the truth" aat the end... We don't know where this "being" came from in order to possess the girl.

It also skiped around a lot after he got his powers.  IT was a lot of confusing pages and Idk what happened when he formed this "squad" and then where did his "squad' go?

Well the character live up to its title, so it's all good I guess.

good read... and a gaping wide open end for possible sequels, while still serving a satisfying story if those never happen.

Looking forward to the author's next work.

It was pretty damn tough to read at times, but still more or less compelling throughout. I felt it lost some steam at the halfway point though, because the first half was just filled to the brim with mystery and hidden menace. The second act in comparison seemed to lose a step.

The ending was... a bit touching, I have to admit.

Damn what a twist! I'm gonna go on a limb and say that haruka is being genuine, it does make sense if her ultimate goal was to fool him to eat him, she would have already done it. Second, I'm glad that the old police officer is still alive, they definitely need to keep him around. Finally, and the biggest one, the original haruka is a total bitch

I was wrong as hell, honestly I feel this manga fell short with this ending. There was plenty more room for masuhiro to be a badass, the old cop to be awesome and the perv girl to get cuter.
