Support the official release, which in a week will be 2 volumes ahead.

Might as well at this point. It's not like they're expensive.

So, at this rate of progress, I'll see you guys again in 15 months then?

Seriously though, thanks to MSPaint for the MSPaint.

I believe these are reasonable expectations.

thx for the translation!

I think this is the first time in the history of fiction that someone has spoken this profoundly retarded phrase.

Compared to living on the streets, it probably does seem like a nice place. These things are relative.

That they're preferable to being on the street is why we HAVE orphanages, you realize.
Bizarro Captain America? Is that you?

hmm... that flag looks familiar...

From shooting the main protagonist in the chest without warning at the beginning of the story to unable to shoot in self-defense in 7 chapters. I'm guessing this series didn't last long.

Actually the chapter has been out for a while but it seems almost no one noticed, be it here, on Mangaupdates or elsewhere. The scanlators' site being down doesn't help.

Elephant gun, my ass. Thing's a revolving rifle, probably in a .30-something to .40-something caliber. Elephant guns are almost entirely single-shot or maybe double-barreled, and (especially in a pseudo-19th century setting), sometimes as big as 4-bore (about .945 caliber, in a rifle, i.e. as big as the biggest anti-tank rifles used in WWII, though not as high-powered).

Why? From a literary perspective what point does that restriction serve? What inherent element of them requires them to be that kind of monster? I don't really see it. It's more of a hindrance to your range of stories. Not that I'm a fan of the whole 'dreamy magical boyfriend/girlfriend' take on them that's come into vogue since Anne Rice, but there's nothing inherent in the idea of a vampire that requires them to be some kind of 'worse than John Wayne Gacy' type of monster.

I don't know about limits. Fevre Dream was a different take on the genre, but they were still inherently monsters. The big difference being Joshua having the strength of character and motivation to dominate his primal urges rather than revel in them. Vampires are very often the embodiment of excess and hedonism, vanity and pride and that was also the case there, but he sought something of greater substance. And it was still a better love story than Twilight.

What a damn waste of potential this manga is. I must say, is hard to believe this manga comes from the same person that made Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. The pacing and character development screams amateurish from the top of the mountain, and it resonates in every chapter. What´s with female MC? Why is she switching personality in the drop of a hat? Why is there no subtlety to the emotions? Why is there no buildup for the "emotional moments"? Why must the author shout in our ears and point in our faces about Hank not being bad?

I feel like the author is treating his readers as dummies, everything is obvious, everything is pointed out, everything is worse than his previous work.........the premise was nice though. *sigh
