Yup, basically. I mean, one can argue that the point is that he went from being a heartless and selfish god to being sort-of kind-of okay, and there's plenty to be said for redemption stories that start with completely rotten protagonists, but the tone is just off for me.

It's almost as if we were supposed to see his remorseful reaction to the body of a scarred girl he'd stripped the clothes off of in a rape attempt and go, "oh, so he's not that bad".

So creepy... *shivers*

Im pretty sure he's not really going to rape her. Just scare her enough to make her cry

Weird, but funny and heartwarming.

I like how by the end he tried to make her cry from laughter. And she did weep from sadness, then joy.
