Human Chair

Lmao, "Why can't you just take me on a date like a normal girl?!" is all it needs.

This story is based on a short story by Edogawa Rampo published in 1925. In the short story the chair maker would originally claim to have used the chair as a hideout to rob the hotel where the chair is located. He would come out at night to ransack the guestrooms and, presumably, also do all his biological activities during that time. Some basic provisions were also in the chair. Also, in the ending, there is a twist - the sender of the letters then claims that the whole thing is his attempt to create a truly frightening manuscript for the female author to review, but of course this explanatory letter was only received after the female author had her freakout. 

Breathing must be kinda difficult in there and it's got to be hot. When it's hot, you sweat and when you sweat, you stink. What about food and water and going to the bathroom? Am I just being too over practical?

Thought it was an interesting story and fresh concept, but it lacks...well, I guess the ability to make me believe it might be possible.

Made me think of a certain Shadman comic... but instead of a chair it was a toilet, and that toilet was a spy!

I feel like the chair salesman was just using his story, while true, as an elaborate pick-up line and the author took it the wrong way.  He just wants some lovin'.
