air spray is cool, but if possible, open up the whole thing, especially if you have a dedicated video card inside. take the heatsink(s) out for a wash (remember to let them dry 1st before reinstalling), scrape off the old heat compound on both the cpu and gpu then spread some new one on.

I do that once a year and my laptop has never failed on me even once in the last 5 years since the day I bought her.

On a serious note, you laptop users, don't forget to clean your fans using an air spray once every few months, especially in spring/summer. The heat buildup will hurt both the components and battery life
