This had a lot of potential, I'm kind of sad that it wasn't as good as it could've been. Still a good read, but not the great one it could've been.
I also think that this story could've gone on for a lot longer.
It's an enjoyable quick but good read.
Interesting plot but I feel that it could have gone further. There are many questions left unanswered ie: where did the fountain come from, what are takers etc. Also I wished there were more character development with Jill and Earl - how did Jill come about and how did Earl come to know about the fountain? In addition to that I was hoping that there was a bigger plan between the army, police and takers. There seemed to be an indication that there was a plan, as Jill mentioned that they could be building an army of monsters, but that was quickly dismissed overall when the takers accepted their existence as is.
While ending was kinda satisfying (regarding that last-boss trio) story overall was so-so, it was explained how valet's were created but not takers i dont suppose they are the same as the so called survivors since survivors have to come back to island to once again bath in fountain and yet takers can't enter, it's also intriguing because it seems that army can make them(takers) just like that. This manga could be really interesting and go on for longer time, author spent too much time on developing kai while ignoring the rest >.>
really good read, not too much drama, some romance, cool story and interesting characters

Aye. Could have been a bit longer, but everything is decent. Wraps up nicely too.
This was a nice read, I liked that I was reading it only for the characters I didn't really care all that much about the plot.
I'll miss coming to this page and seeing my comments from 2012 and 2014, it really put into perspective how long I've been reading this.
Now that's how a manga should end... with...
