Well, in this case it was a side-effect of the bandana, though. So it's curable in the sense that, if his father can fix whatever he needed the bandana for so that he doesn't need to wear it anymore. He won't have the problem anymore.

There's actually a 6 page omake/epilogue at the end of Volume 2, if you wanted me to give them to you. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get Volume 1 (I think the series had really low ratings/ the print run was small.) and never gotten anything on the used market before.
