Good evening!

As some of you already know, Batoto will be closing permanently on the 18th of January. (http://vatoto.com/forums/topic/28840-batoto-will-be-closing-permanently) Now, we as a scanlation team have a problem. We use Batoto as a platform to spread our releases to other sites like kissmanga. It could be that in two weeks a person in the Batoto team will take over the torch or another site will let us do it but we can't be sure about that. Thus, I want to ask if anyone knows a place where we can post our new releases and spread from there, as I don't know any sites that let people upload manga. All help is welcome because it would suck if we can't provide our releases to as many people as we can.

Thanks.

1) And I take no stand on this, I'm simply answering your question because you asked.........anybody (well, maybe it takes membership, dunno/don't remember) can upload to both Mangafox and Mangahere, you access the upload functions off of the comic pages (or at least that's where I know to find them)...

They might take a little while to approve them, but they'll show up eventually.......it's been a long time since I uploaded to either of them, though I have to both of them in the past, never took more than a matter of hours as I remember.

After that.....hey, you've got a website where you're offering direct downloads and you're reporting your releases to MangaUpdates, right? Nothing should change, whatever aggregate readers should still come and get a copy of your releases for their site.

If you want to offer online reading of your release, you can setup something through imgur, upload them there and set 'em up as an "album" and post the link for people to go to and read there,  works just fine :)

...Wow, things do get really weird right before the apocalypse.

Why would you think that? I've never left Mangafox or Mangahere, I was a member with both of them before batoto even existed.

svines85 thanks for the answer. I knew that you could post on Mangafox but not that you could on Mangahere. I checked Mangafox yesterday and did not found the button so I thought the removed the button. And I understand I hate Mangafox too but this could suck if we can't spread it in a simple way so I am happy to have an answer. We are thinking about doing a reader but it is still a headache to do it all because yeah Batoto was way simpler and gave us a simple way to post stuff.  Seems we will going back before Batoto time.

well i am at a loss about where to go also, lot of sites that were great are gone, you can read usually at kissmanga but they have redirects and some other issues, well my biggest problem is groups not creating an account for baka and updating properly as that is the best for following groups, their requirements are harsh and some even just set up a twitter account, dont post on it but put up a link to their proper site that has their group work on it, would suggest at least setting up a proper baka account to people can still follow when releases happen
