This hasn't been updated in 7 months... :( One Snowshoe, what happened?

The blog now has a note that says the translation has been done, and it asks for anyone who is willing to do the cleans to get in contact. (If I had the tools, I'd gladly learn how.)

IS IT REALLY OVER??? i dont really care but itd be nice to have it completed

has been mentioned many times before. it has the 完結 (complete) tag attached to it at ebj or any seller you wanna visit:

The manga already ended almost a year ago, but still it is not fully scanlated yet. Did the scanlator of this series dropped it or something?

I love this ! <3 ! I try my best for reading in Englisch... It's difficult but ok ! Thanks to the team translate this ! :)

And i can't wait for other chapter ! :D

Does anyone know if we are currently caught up with manga? I really can't wait to see some progress from the main couple.

Remember saya. When he's gets the b''s you get the d.

To be quite honest without the Saya X Kuzu ship(just the focus of those two characters in general) i would've long dropped the series. I don't think the main pair would be interesting enough alone

I completely fucking forgot that she was an artist.

When I saw this update, I thought:

"I hope it's a Kazu x Saya chapter!  I don't actually remember who the other chars are... beta-as-fck guy x Kashi-something"

Now after reaading this chapter, can someone explain to me why the fuck is Saya not the main girl? Like, the way she acts, her personality and everything I can think of about her is just perfect, she is literally the perfect waifu, but here we have this fucking idiot and absurd of a character that is so fucking dense, she still can't realize what the fuck MC wants from her.

explain for fucksake

Because the author wanted to write about two awkward idiots growing up, not two perfect normies boning on the regular.

Beta Couple. Common literary trope in this sorta story.

SayaKazu be like:

The title of the manga is "Tonari no Kashiwagi-san" and not "Tonari no Fukuda-san". And in my opinion, it is better to have a best character, perfect waifu as a supporting character to write more story. How can you write anything if the MC is already perfect? Your story would probably end in less that 10 chapters. It would have been better to write it as a one-shot than a series. So having the best girl not the MC would mean longer series and you can see more of her than as the MC but the story ends right then and there.

I know the main couple is being real slow and it can be frustrating, but isn't their "slowness" the whole point? I mean it isn't an accident the mangaka is showing other people moving faster in contrast. The idea is to show that it's okay to take it real slow for some people.

This might be going off on a tangent, but maybe sometimes we all move too fast in relationships. Everyone is always chasing that quick, intense, passionate, falling in love high. It's all good while it lasts, but when it's over you get bored and disinterested so you start chasing the next high. By the time everyone gets tired of the intensity and chasing, everyone has so much baggage and issues. Maybe if we just took it slow we would be able to find someone to be "boring" with.

You're totally right with people taking romance at their own pace. I've seen it a couple times when i was in highschool, however from a reader perspective it seems that the mangaka is just stretching the series as long as possible. I've literally dropped this manga two and a half years ago due to the frustrating slow romance pace and I decided to check it out the newest chapter and (correct me if I'm wrong) it seems that the main pair made very minimal progress at all. This gives me no motivation to go back to read what I missed because their relationship feels the same. (I'm also aware that they have mutual feelings for each other but something is preventing them from acting more like a couple). Steady romance pace is perfectly fine by me but taking years to advance romance is hardly justifiable to me. Anyway this is just my two cents on the frustrating romance pace. I'm not the type of person who would write a college level analysis justifying the slow pace. I'm just a simple reader who wanted to read a romantic slice in life manga.
1:24 in the morning and this sugar won't let me sleep now :')

I loved this chapter, but I still want a Tina harem spin-off. ^_^

Spoiler

True-and-a-half. Well-said.

Well, would you look at that. After nearly 80 chapters, the same issues are still there.

You're kidding, right? ( ' o ' )

It's completely accurate to say something similar* about 90%+ of the chapters, but this chapter might be the very worst time to say it.

* - no meaningful events; little/no significant character development or almost anything but vanilla goodness

C U T E

anyone happen to have a graphic of gif of an insulin volcano erupting out of someones head? i need it for times like this

It's so laughably frustrating that literally everyone on the planet has progressed so far and yet here we are with the main two, barely trudging along to relationship status. Slow and steady wins the race, huh? I dunno.

Yeah, well, nobody ever points out the key flaw with that:  It only works if the competition takes a long nap in the middle of the race.  How often does that happen?

TOO SWEET, NO :(

Kazu and Saya continue to give me diabetes. Their love is too damn sweet.
