Minaguchi Kaoru is nothing special. He's no good at sports or school, isn't in any clubs, and he's not popular. He has no friends and isn't even interested in any of the girls he knows. He's also teased due to the fact that he loves shoujo manga. Unlike the harem daydreams of his peers, he dreams of finding his true love. Unfortunately, a shinigami comes to kill him, simply because he's a "forever alone" sort of guy. When he gasps out his intention of embracing life with his final breaths, though, she takes it back! As long as he follows through on his intentions, he won't be killed.
To convince the shinigami that his plans are genuine, he declares that he will confess to the girl he likes, the very next day. Expecting failure with confessing to random girls in his school, he sends out love letters to four different girls. To his surprise, they all agree to be his girlfriend. Now, this shoujo-manga-loving guy has ended up in a kind of harem story, quadruple-timing four girls! Will he be able to stay involved with the girls without they finding about each other? |

Absurb ending, damn you "Axe"
Between this and 'Mechanical,' this ending sucked. At least Mechanical was willing to break the fourth wall, and bring some good moments out of it. Anyway, hope we get some new series out of these that are worth mentioning (unlike some other -neverending- harem stories that are subpar but last forever -coughnisekoicough-)
Sigh another decent series falls short due to the oh so powerful "AXE". Everytime a series gets axed I just can't help but think about "MX0" So much potential just wasted which was and still is very sad to this very day.
Was that supposed to be an ending? BOO. I know it was axed, but that didn't even make sense. It feels less like a "this got axed so I tried to finish it up the best I could in 2 chapters" and more of an "I don't even fucking care, here's a mishmash of ideas I had floating around".
really would have liked for this to have had a real end. there are so many good manga that end up with these rushed half assed endings. though i did kind of like the way Boku ni Koisuru Mechanical made it's recent axing into pretty much a giant fuck you to the axe. still... it's sad that these stories got fucked like this. who here is in favor of starting up a kick starter or some such thing to fund actual endings for all the good axed manga out there?

Yeah, I guess the audience has to relate to the MC in order to find it interesting and the publishers go where the money is, but you'd think with one third of the entire population of Japan (across all age groups and both genders) reading manga there'd be room for more variety. The way it is you'd think it was a whole culture afflicted with Shinji Syndrome. Yech.

Blame not the axe for the pain it brings. It is merely a tool to fulfill a means. The ones truly to blame are we. We want a new story told exactly the same way. We want service at every possible turn. And it is we who complain only after seeing another's end without contributing one of our own. If we want to change, then we must be the ones to bring change. Should the axe take us, then let it take us. It would only mean that our pen was not sharp enough, our ink was too muddy, our paper was too thin. Let it be that every time the axe comes to strikes us down, we shall get up and be stronger by it.

Why just why all good mangas are axed... I hate stupid characters... But every manga with normal/smart characters gets axed... Who is responsible?!?!?!

Man, Mx0 was great. Tame fanservice, a main character using cleverness to beat stronger opponents, and likable and strong females. It's a shame the typical market for manga and anime (I feel) is getting more depraved and shallow.

Unfortunately, japanese otakus don't have the same dream. They prefer the usual useless protagonist so they can feel good themselves. Thanks to them, this manga is getting axed.
unexpected is the last chapter, I didn't think that final route was airi D: , the four girls are great, I thought manga was going a bit longer, too short the story, the manga had lot potencial well , I'll wait for the last updated. :'(
