I know I should not be making a big deal, but the choice of word irks me.

Is Chimera really the the right word? Why not the word scion? Chimera implies he 2 distinct part like Lucy from FMA or the goat/lion/serpent or a sphinx/manticore/ etc etc would all be consider loosen as chimera. Scion, I think would be a better word since scion is the offspring, which he is a human demon tamer and a demon.

Actually iris told him the ring is passed down generations and its for their lifelong companion(wedding ring). Contract complete he had his first kiss with iris(his first kiss in life too).

Ah...but your excerpt is missing something...I'm not sure what.  It sounds so mechanical when you boil it down to its essence.  Is it because you cut out her behavior as she says that?  Is it because it's missing the reactions from the peanut gallery?  Or is it lacking the TL'ers off-hand comment?

You can never bottle iris's cuteness so of course that small copy/paste of mine can never show it.

Sigh, the manga author probably slapped half a volume in this chapter, and MC was worried for the psycho girl who almost killed he and the girl and made him going berserk, I hate a MC who can't keep some hate in himself.

At this pace he will conquer the psycho girl in future.

I don't know if this is a terrible port of the novel, a bad translation or if the story if simply so bad.
