Description: A teacher is looking for a school by the name of Seishou Academy, as he is a new transfer teacher for that school. Seishou Academy is known for having students with excellent marksmanship. However, he gets lost along the way and decides to look for someone who knows where the school is at a summer festival. He encounters a girl at a shooting range and finds her marksmanship skills to be professional. The girl tells the new teacher that she is an assault rifle, not a student. Her name is FNC and is an assault rifle of Seishou Academy. The new teacher attends school the next day to find students, including FNC, practicing shooting assault rifles and realizes that he has come to an unbelievable school. How will his experience be at Seishou Academy?

Note: Chapter 20 technically doesn't exist, it was skipped when "Upotte!" switched publications from Young Ace to Shōnen Ace.

thx /ak/ scanlations for new chap
I wonder when will we see handgun, sniper rifle, light/medium/heavy machine gun and shotgun and i wonder which class they belong ?
You know, it would be kind of cool if L85 actually did get upgraded to the A2 version, and became a sort of bad ass that still stumbled a lot because she is always expecting malfunctions, but they don't happen anymore. Like, she gets into a standoff with some opponent and says something awesome as a prelude to a firefight, when she just straight stops and tugs on her magazine because this is where it would have fallen out before.
@kahn

But the fact of the matter is, L is the A1 variant. It was bad, full stop. At the very least, it wasn't the greatest. She isnt the A2 and that is never going to change.

As for the the brits using Argentinian FALs, i am sure there are sporadic accounts of that happening purely for the full auto capability. They most likely picked it up purely for that function. Given that the British were trained professionals, I am sure they were quite capable of controlling when they want single, burst or full auto with the FAL, giving them greater tactical capabilities. As low of a quality it may be, it was most likely not to the point where it was going to fall apart in their hands mid combat in the first engagement.

Its not to say that EVERYONE did it, but i am sure there are enough cases in which that DID occur for him to make such a claim, even though it is a bit sensationalised and hyperbolised
and i dont know where the writer is getitng the myth that British troops in the Flaklands used argentine FALs.

The Argentine weapons were badly maintained and lower quality, and the Marines and other specialist troops on the Islands preferred the accuracy of the single shot L1A1's.
i get the feeling that the writer is a bit to harsh on the British Rifle....

Its main problemw as jamming in desert and other inhospitable conditions and a few design quirks (such as the mag release being able to be caught on clothes, meaning the mag could be released by accident).

The L85A2 is, in fact, an extremely reliable assault rifle. It is also the upgraded version of the one in this manga.
Oh god... if Mimi gets turned into the butt monkey and gets taken out instantly again, i'll be pretty pissed. I rather like her.
I've shot a few of those, too. The FN PS90 (civvie semi-auto P90) is an easy recoiling sub gun and that rotating cam mag is a neat design function. Kind of awkward to shoot all hunched over, though. Maybe it's an FN-Herstal thing? Friend of mine has an FS2000 and that thing was just awkward to hold and fire. Had to shoot it holding it sideways and I'm 5'9". It's too bad we can't get the "real" versions of some of these rifles as the US has some hefty import bans on foreign-made rifles. Both my UMP and PTR-91 (G3 clone which is a short-barrel CQB version of the G3 Kurz) have some American-made parts to be legal.
That translator comments page pic on ch37 makes me suspect it's a trap....
The others wouldnt seem like it cos s/he is crouching forward, but since this one is sidewards.... *looks at chest area*
Not complaining with small bewbs but still, and that hair looks fake..... Gotta be a trap....
by the way i have fire a M14, M60, M16A4, Galil SAR, Galil ACE, MK-1 MGL, Beretta 92 and The Sig Sauer sp 2022
i wanna see guns like the fn 5.7, a beretta 92, the famous smith & wesson model 29 chambered for the .44 magnum (watch dirty harry for reference) or the classic colt ssa.
Haha, I forgot about the alien strange faces.
Although the bodies are quite well drawn (when he puts his mind into it).

The only rifle I've fired is the SIG550. Heheh. Kinda hoping to get my hands on a Nagant or an SKS. So smexy.
I can't wait to see what would happen if the teacher held FNC
I don't have any guns myself, but a friend of me has an MG3 and a M249. I cannot seem to remember, but has this mange covered any light or heavy machine guns?
@kabob

It's kinda cool that a .308 barrel can fire both the .308 Winchester and the 7.62x51mm and the 5.56x45mm barrel can shoot both the 5.56x45mm and the .223 Remington. However, not vice-versa for both calibers. So yeah, you're correct on the civie counterpart of the 7.62x51mm but the exception is the 5.56x45mm (funny thing is, the 5.56x45mm is cheaper than the .223 Remington.)

I've fired a Steyr/Mannlicher Scout .308 Winchester (there is also a .223 Remington variant,) the FN FS2000 (chambers the 5.56x45mm,) and the FN PS90 (chambers the 5.7x28mm FN.)
Sorry, Funco-chan... I couldn't find you TT^TT.
I got a 2nd gen. Glock 17
BTW, just curious how many of y'all on here shoot? I'm mostly a handgun guy (primarily H&K and Sig Sauer although my conceal carry is a Springfield Armory XD-S) but I also have a civvie-legal UMP and a G3 clone (which actually built to tighter tolerances and more accurate than a real G3, ironically). Fun but expensive hobby :)
@wizard172 The 7.62 NATO cartridge is actually a 7.62x51mm, not 54. The 54 cartridge isn't a NATO round and is primarily found in Russian rifles. BTW, unlike 5.56 NATO or the 9mm NATO ammunition, 7.62 NATO is actually underpowered compared to its civilian counterpart, the .308 Winchester. I shoot .308 Win through my G3 clone (gotta love Texas, we can own anything the Feds allow) since it cycles more reliably than 7.62x51mm.

And you guys... you don't need a frickin' .50BMG rifle to shoot at distance. An overpressure .308 round with a match-grade boattail bullet is capable of shooting 1000 yards. The .338 Lapua round actually set the distance record for a confirmed sniper kill at 2707 yards (over 1.5 miles or 2475m).
OMGOMGOMGOMG! A RELEASE! HUZZAH!
Wait a minute... NOOOO MY G36C IS NOT IN HERE!! TT^TT
Chapter 36 is at the bottom, before chapter one.
@Nest There is no chapter 20. When they switched magazines they skipped 20 in the numbering.
great... I feel perverted for taking apart my guns to clean them... >.<
sniper battle
M24 (7,62x54mm nato) vs Dragunov (7.62×54mmR)
Barrett (12.7×99mm) vs Hecate II (12.7×99mm)
Garrum i think this will ok
@rc

They arent dividing the guns by political affiliation, but by where its made. Its more Eastern Versus Western Europe production.

Plus, i dont think it ever did show them as heroes of justice. FG42 was just a teacher. Nothing more, nothing less. Like any teacher, she'd do something if her students were attacked (ala Thompson style).

As for the Russians, its not really evil, but more like the typical AK vs M16 argument, except ramped up by 100 so that it turns into a Western vs Eastern argument. So they aren't evil. They just think they're better than the western counterpart and vice versa.
Sorry. It is fg-42, but i doesn't change the meaning.

And there's no mg-42

Their teacher is a german ww2 era machine gun.
