Coming back after a while and... a chapter with almost no fanservice in which Suseri finally faces her mother and shows her who is boss in a very polite way? This was unexpected. And good.

I think that is fueled by fear. I think she had hopes at one point with Kaya which were then shattered which hurt her immensely. Ever since then she has been focused on preventing the same thing happening to her daughter who she thinks is making the same mistakes she did in her youth.
Of course though since this is a very traditional household there is no way any of that can be discussed and you just have the "You better listen to me since I am your parent!" thing which got them to where they are now. That said even by the measure of traditional households the mother is not dealing with it at all well.

Well...he's technically bound to both girls... It's true he obviously has feelings for Sakuya but I wouldn't count Susuri out either... honestly, I'm more inclined to believe this will be a legit harem by the end. He's quite fond of Suseri too.

Suseri is by far best girl but the author is pushing the annoying little brat hard. Best we can hope is for harem end.
They "commissioned" translations. The "translations" were horrible. Not just bad English, but straight up wrong. But thanks now to both sacred blade scams, and the guys who picked up kissxsis, those are the translations used. Nothing but the fact that these "translations" were funded by fan money makes me angry.
