Read it again after a couple of years, and it still rocks. A real classic.

I love how the characters in this manga kinda resemble the monsters in claymore.

I wanted to read a manga, but I wasn't feeling of betting on new manga, so I started rummaging all those manga that I read before, which one I really wanted to reread? To spend my time again?

This series just keeps bringing me back. Rereading it is a joy.
This is where I come when I grow tired of monsters, robots, schoolgirls built and/or dressed like porn stars, etc. A must read. Trust me, you won't regret your time spent on this manga.
Hey people. Vote for 5 stars on this manga. That way it will rise in popularity, and everyone else can marvel at Angel Densetsu's glory. Please.
it's probably been more than 4years since i read this... and i still remember that it was 100% awesome.
This manga is really good, definitely recommend it.
Finished reading this just now. Hands down. This is a masterpiece, a gem. The most beautiful manga I've ever read.
The first time I saw the cover "God.. the art is so bad.." but after reading several chapters, I came to love the art. It has its own charm and uniqueness.
The characters are really loveable. I can't even hate the villains (Katayama, I hate people like him). The pacing is also nice though you won't find much plot in this manga(slice of life).

I cannot believe i have never commented this manga. i have reread this series for the fourth time now. this is totally hilarious and inspired. the art becomes part of the fun, just like doodles, and not only you dont mind but you actually look for it and the strange way faces are put around.
do read it, really do it.
Its a great manga. There is only thing that I actually dislike. Most of the characters develop but in the end only the main character is just like he was in the beginning.
Only thing that changed was him falling in love and recognizing this.
It's really visible how the author used this early work to create Claymore, the relationship between Ikuko and Leo was converted to the more melodramatic nature of Raki and Clare. This is shown quite well by the end of Chapter 75.
I myself did not enjoy this series, but I do not really enjoy slice-of-life (A show which allows you to skip 70 chapters and miss virtually nothing is redundant in my book). I wanted to poke at Claymore's predecessors; and it was a blast to see how his art improved greatly from start to end. Him being 24 when he started this, and my being 20, gives off a sense of inspiration in this ambiguous business.
If you Slice Of Life, which are stories that do not really go anywhere, you should enjoy this. Otherwise, beware.
