Viz just released the digital versions of Volume 1 on their site/apps!
Saw the current TH chapters animated in Root A, if this had been a quality OVA there would've been a lot of pants-creaming among the fandom. Still worth the wait to see Enji, Kaya and Yoshimura animated and making
fagsdoves' heads roll.Heads up, Viz will be releasing the official english release for Volume 1 (digital or print) either next Tuesday or the Tuesday after. Buy it if you want to support Ishida.

I think those chapters were done by Kawa scans which deleted all of it's chapters here for... reasons.

So now from my reread and knowledge of Tokyo Ghoul:re I've surmised that
I can't be the first to notice this, but I love it: 1000 divided by 7, rounded up is 143. So if the 1st chapter is 1000, the 2nd is 993, the 3rd is 986.... the torture countdown finishes on the last chapter. I knew the number of chapters was planned since the 72nd was titled "Halfway", but this is extra neat.

I don't mind that the anime goes for an original plot, we still have the manga after all.
That said, I expected the fandom to start a shitstorm over the massive changes in the story, the ending of the first episode of Root A was enough to stir up a hornet's nest.
I want to join as well.

I hope they are going to make another anime based on original plotline, just like what they did with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Maybe they will called it Tokyo Ghoul: Anteiku :'v
