Eh. The entirety of the original manga is about how much she likes watching him struggle, I doubt it backfired from her perspective.
Dude's traumatized. Also, all that teasing back when may have backfired on the girl--basically, she trained him systematically to think admitting emotion == losing.
This guy has some serious teasing issues if he can't even tell his own wife he loves how she looks.
This extra chapter was drawn by the mangaka of the main series (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san), not the author of the spinoff. His art happens to make Nishikata look more his age here.
Looks like mangaka realized he/she drew adult Nishikata's face looking too young because here in extras looks finally older.

He probably only won because of Chi-chan. Takagi can't show her full power if she's teamed up with Chi-chan.
She's like a strong character who can defeat anything alone but becomes weaker when protecting someone.

There's something really adorable about children trying to help out with chores.
I think she tricked him into marriage. They played one of their games and the conditions were that he would lose if he didn't marry her.
She won't even be involved in that teasing, she just automatically wins by getting grandkids because that's how it works.

God it's adorable when chi teams up with nishikata. But I'm bewildered as to how Nishikata could fathom the courage to ask tikagi to marry him, let alone conceive a child with her. Years later and he's still taking Ls and getting embarrassed.
Can we get just one kiss? Don't married couples kiss?
