Other than those who live off defeating monsters, most people are only around Level 1 to 5.
What's more, not just anyone can go out to hunt monsters; it's heavily influenced by one's role appointed by God.
There are eight such eligible roles. Warriors. Fighters. Clerics. Magicians. Rogues. Merchants. Hunters. Sorcerers.
Those blessed with extraordinary power are divided into three types. Royalty. Heroes. Sages.
But for the majority of the population, they have no such powers and live by farming or running shops. Towns are developed by those with the weakest role... Villagers.
For the powerless Villagers going out to hunt monsters is equivalent to committing suicide.
But one day, a certain two-year-old child given the role of Villager notices something.
Once you defeat a monster... you can earn great wealth.

Are we ever going to get a fantasy series with a protagonist that hates demihumans?
Spoiler

XP measures danger not levels. When a villager class level up he gains 3 stats points, when a combat class levels up he gains 15 or so. In a couple levels ordinary enemies stop being dangerous for combat specialists so they need to hunt super dangerous monsters, villagers can gains exp hunting normalish monsters.

Later in the novels the hero party start grinding levels like Kagami, No special equipament, no armors, weapons, nothing. They almost died fighting normal mobs.

There's also the problem that unless someone gets a crazy healing skill (like Kagami) the only reliable recovery method is a healer, potions stop being effective after 3 or 4 doses, so one error and someone dies.

For maximum xp gains, you first have to shoot yourself in the foot, face your enemies while naked...maybe strip before shooting your foot...and defeat all enemies while using only counterattacks, wielding a toothpick.

Edit: weapon needs to be in your off-hand.

Omg it's Joestar's secret technique! NIGERUNDAYOOOO

Plus it might be like the Onion knight if FF3 and Tactics, which is complete garbage until you level them to the max. They then get a huge stat boost, and the ability to equip the best weapons.

Like the Super Novice in RO, except it is worth it for the stats, rather than the status.

Spoiler

don't need to read the novel to figure that out.

Bilda sounds like builder, the Japanese accent from saying the English word.

In turn, builder reminds me of body builder...

Guess that's why she's(?) so buff...

*shivers*

RUN MURABITO RUN

And that's indeed why loot-boxes are receiving so much criticism.

Spoiler

Why does the MC seem a bit insane to me?

Maybe it's just the 「Taboo LV10」 skill.

The centaurs really kill all the heroic tension..lol

Spoiler

Loot boxes? This manga is gonna get banned in Belgium.

Loot boxes... they drive people mad...

I couldn't help but think of fantasy microtransactions: EA's biggest wet dream

Why are rival heroes in fantasies so goddamn dense?!

if they're not dense they would be the MAIN hero, duh. or you're just reading Naruto

Callin it now, Palma is the traitor/villain of the group

I love Kagami's facial expressions.

I smell B!tch in the hero's group (also what's with the girl with the hat?? is she like the thief(job) of that group?)
