I have read the WebNovel before this manga and it doesn't fall from the WN and I wasn't disappointed of the art-style and it brought out the cuteness of ponta.

Whether it's a spinoff manga, or a spinoff novel, doesn't matter to me, I'm ok with either. I just think it'd be interesting to get an inside look at that (currently) only a background detail.

Arc's Swordsmanship is pretty weak, but that's in terms of swordsmanship only. If he were to use massive wide AOEs, he can clear whole armies as later in novel shows.

Arc is actually on par with someone like Lina Inverse. Won't say any more than that...

Seeing Arc get whooped just made me like this manga a lot more. I fully expected him to pull some shit and defeat elf mom, but this is a pleasant surprise. I like the line "Having high parameters doesn't make you strong." Dude got outplayed.

It's implied that aside from Arc, the Founder of the Elven Kingdom, who was an elf, was also from the same world as Arc, and more importantly, was a Canadian. Thus, they named all of the elven villages after Canada and things associated with Canada, like Maple, hence, why Ariane's full name is Ariane Glenys Maple.

This is an isekai done well, but I can't put my finger on why. I think it's because it lets the characters be 'themselves', and doesn't try to shoehorn tropes and marketing gimmicks into the plot at every turn. It just feels like a natural progression, even if things like OP skills and fanservice are still present to some degree.
