Really, this whole scenario could be solved by talking the whole thing out and maybe getting Shitty Friend to off himself before he can attempt to NTR the MC.

Most things that happen in anime and manga could be solved by simply talking. Literally every misunderstanding could be fixed by using words instead of stuttering or going EEEEHHHHHHHHH to it.

Isn't this the kind of situation which can be solved simply by conversation?

If he just tells her he can get it off to her younger self (which is nothing to feel jealous about), she can try to act "cuter" (being shy and all, like he was talking) and possibly roleplay as a high schooler or something (it would probably works, since he seemed excited at her younger sight, even though he believed it was just a play). There's nothing wrong with that, every long lasting couple needs a thing to spice things a bit (as long it doesn't involve cheating or lethal things it's fine).

Actually, if his annoying friend had actually told his GF and she were doing a roleplay (as a high schooler) at that time, things would work just fine with them I believe.

But not enough drama I guess.

Yeah looked at 1-57 last night friend doesn't get the younger version of the gf but he does get the real/current/future?(fuck this is confusing to explain)version of the gf when she's at her most vulnerable. The alternate time line is confusing me so thanks for making it clearer. I'm really excited for  the future chapters to get translated and I the past gf is gonna talk some sense into the cheating gf's head. Dad does seem to be awesome.

Also. For everyone. MC is like, 32 years old? I think Jia is 31 which makes younger Jia 21? Something like that. It might be Jia is 29 and younger one is 19. But, still legal. No pedo stuff here.

But they've been dating for ten years...so that means they were dating when he was 22, and she was twelve? At least their "first time" appears to have occurred when she was in highscool, so that would put her in the 15-18 range and him in the 25-28 range, which is...still not great.

Okay. So. I downloaded the chapters for chapters 50-57 which, in the thumbnails it shows his girlfriend having sex with her friend. There is sort of NTR. His friend probably does have sex with his sort of girlfriend. I saw probably, because he does kiss her, though she pushes him away three times and then accepts him the fourth time. She was upset, vulnerable, he pounced, it was all around shitty and very complicated. But. It might not be a done deal. From what I can tell. THERE'S AN ALTERNATE TIMELINE. It's an alternate timeline where she apparently married dude's shitty friend instead of him, and he keeps cheating on her, and she's unhappy. Her dad is apparently tied to the timeline, because she seems to keep dying, gets hit by a truck, suicide, et cetera, and her dad keeps trying to save her. The end. So in the thumbnail of her having sex with his friend isn't true, at least she doesn't in that particular chapter. The chapter where it shows the thumbnail of her getting fucked by shitty friend is an image that comes up when shitty friend declares to the MC that he's going to NTR the MC. but it's more complicated than that. WAY I can't say if there's NTR in earlier chapters or not, as his friend was trying to fuck the younger version of his girlfriend and I don't know if he did. Maybe the thumbnail wasn't just a taunt and was a flashback for a chapter I didn't see. I can't tell you. At the very least, Jia's dad is awesome. Basically, her dad is a time traveler, and he keeps trying to save his daughter from BAD END. Which is why he time travels to bring the past Jia to the present.

 

Also. IF there is any consolation, since this spoiler ruins the series anyway; Jia apparently commits suicide everytime she gets NTR'd by shitty friend. In her Dad's epic quest to save her, each timeline that shows her with shitty friend is a suicide end. So. That's something.

wait what? he says she is a year younger then him. so that mean he is 32 and she is 31. she is his girlfriend of 10 years so that means they started dating when he was 22 and she was 21.
