Not the usual cookie cutter kissu ending. Shit felt real. I liked that.

Whyyyyy.

There was so little need for any of this.

aaaaaaaa

Fuck that

Meh, feels axed, but at least the author gave us an answer to their feelings for each other, and some steamy kisses to boot lol. An epilogue woulda been nive though.

The worst kind of ending for these kinds of series are vague open endings  :(

I quite like the ending. I think it ended like it started: dropping us in the middle of an ongoing story about two friends who kinda want something more. In terms of a conclusion, I think it works well to close that main conflict.

AND THEN THEY BANGED

Did this get axed? That was quite an ending.

Do you imagine the last page had a framed photo with a family and two small kids with long necks?

Just FYI, the last page says "That's their (these two's) story so far", not "their story goes on". "koko made", as in "up to here/this point".

Also, shitty ending, holy crap. No resolution or closure, they kissed again, yay?

The implication of "that's their story until here" is that the story goes on. It's a jap thing to say it backwards.

EDIT: Of course that doesn't mean that this manga will ever continue in any fashion, just to make it clear.

the end is that he puts a baby in her.

Wait… can we even call this thing an "ending"??

Wish it didn't end the way it did.

Okay. Thanks for nothing. I really enjoyed this series, but... what the fuck?

Pretty weird ending.  Bittersweet departure and then ends on lewd kissing

but for real tho, did he leave or nah?

So that's it? (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

happy ever after? or no?

I can't believe I never foresaw that. It's such an obvious use for that neck, in hindsight. I feel like that page could have been the founding concept for the whole manga.

Also, everyone needs to stop losing their minds when a series ends. It's natural to lament a series passing before its time, but all of this "Axed?" "Axed!" "Axed?!" "AXED!!" "AXED!!!!" bleating that inevitably precedes the finale is unbecoming. What difference does it make why it's ending? Are you gonna do something?

Color pages and whatnot, any series that's not a flagship, is fair game for editorial sharpshooting.

It's quite obviously been axed, The rushed narrative contrasts enormously with the almost geological pacing of earlier episodes. Wether the blade came from the direction of poor sales or from office politics is irrelevant at this point.

But would you call something axed when it looks like the author dropped it? BSM isn't WSJ. It's a pretty rare case for them to drop a stable manga and half the stuff sells as much/less as Kwr or is also niche stuff. If we assume that they wanted to drop something either because of sales or overall popularity, there'd be at the least 10 other series in BSM that would be more fitting.
