Though the author forgets himself sometimes and puts some obviously ecchi shots, like with the "cat girl". When the old man patted her, there was a panel with closeup on her bare feet showing her toes curl or when she was eating icecream there was a panel with a closeup on her extended tongue.

As PLG already remarked, the female characters' lips are very pronounced, but so are their bosoms, their waists, their hips, their rounded faces with blushing cheeks, the gentle, sometimes upward, sometimes wonderous gazes, their typically feminine "closed" body positions (e.g. tilted heads, closed knees, arms kept close to the torso)... Not to mention the way they are dressed (e.g. form-fitted clothes, heels, dresses, blouses, skirts), their hairstyles (none shorter than chin length), their movements, and last but not least the camera angles.

In my view, we've got a classic case of what I call "covered fanservice."

This might not be an ecchi manga and there might be no regular fanservice (nudity, pantyshots, closeups on cleavage etc.), but the author does stuff to keep it sensual (as Library Guy noticed). It's usually rather subtle, but at times it becomes very obvious (especially with the girl who likes cats), so it's not there by accident.
