Honestly, knowing the koreans and their love for bittersweet endings, the dialog from chapter 0 seems like her dying words to Tae Jin. Not to mention the fact that he gets a power up after looking at the empty chair, like he's using the promise as a power up.
God. I know I'm going to start regret reading this if a tragedy strikes down the road but I can't stop reading
Just have to hope the author is trolling us and she's safe in a match somewhere or that the only worst case scenario is that she can't box or she's in a coma

True, but it also function as a way to show how much stronger Tae-jin has grown. If he struggles a lot against that d-bag, it may just show he may not have progressed that much during his training. Also, I rather enjoy seeing arrogant d-bags get their light punched out. xD

K i know this a webtoon and everything but... At least give the guy some goddamn headgear, i know he's not hitting his hardest on Taejin but come on!!! and 1000 left hooks?!!! Are you out of your god damn mind?!!! That can cause some serious fucking damage, he can tare his rotary cuff for fucks sake!!! Im srry, i love this webtoon and all but a persons well being is more important than anything else, especially in a sport like boxing. Although, i did like how the author added dragon flags, such a great workout.

Honestly, I also find two other possibilities to be just as likely, if not more so.
A: She's been injured in her own title match, and is unable to attend.
B: She's IN her own title match at the same time, going through the same things he is, since they are both serious boxers.
I figured the second one to be likely after reading Jane and Shioon's pledge to both go for the top of their respective goals.
