Not really, saying it's a little Mao is just another way to say she looks similar to her mom: This girl has long hair, unlike young Mao, and lives in the Nakamura house with a different set of rules. It's their daughter.
I agree, Rock-san... I guess the point is that they are trying to do something to move forward for the first time in a while. Also, probably pandering to the fans that want them to hook up with someone.
The thing the author makes painstakingly clear is that the little girl at the end IS Mao. That shouldn't even be a debate. I agree that it is a little bit awkward, though. I would have preferred it had it been her daughter (or anything else, really) instead.
Is it FINALLY over? Will they stop harvesting my feelings once and for all.
I think it'd be fine if Daiki & Sis got their own show, too.
Also, regarding the debate about the last scene, I'm inclined to say that it is set in the future because her hair is so long, and since the table is a smaller four-person one, instead of the big one the Nakamuras used to have in the past. Or, perhaps, it's just an imaginary scene of ten-year-old Mao living in the Nakamuras' house (comfortably enough to house-sit by herself), which really seems a little nonsensical to me.
And YOU get a happy ending and YOU get a happy ending and EVERYONE gets a happy ending!
No need to be so desperate...
I believe what the author means is that their daughter looks so much like Mao, that it's like looking at a 10 year old Mao. The house rules in the wall definitely mean it's in the future.
10 year old Mao at the end was a bit to dazzling for me to handle, my eyes are starting to water from that dazzling smile of hers.
...that's the only reason they're watering, got it!? Nothing else!
On the author's note it says it's a 10 years old Mao
hey
One more chapter then we'll reach the end, boys!
It'd be great if that was the author's next work. XD
I can't really remember either, but apparently, what's her name, Sugimoto? had this online pal called Ruirui that she would consult with about her love problems and who shared her otaku tendencies about BL between whatever-era heroic samurai
I don't think we knew anything about Ruirui beyond a few shots of snips of conversation about whether Sugimoto was going to confess to our hero or whatever.
I have some awful memory... I can't even recall who Ruirui is, ahaha. But really... if someone jog could my memory I'd be grateful...
DAIKI x RADICAL ALLLLLL THEEEE WAY
but maybe just in my imagination yeah j-just in my no No NOOOO i do not accept I DO NOT ACCEPT
sigh never mind me i'll just go look at a corner and let my imagination loose yeah that's it that's what i'll do yeahhhhhhh
So much love, very cute.
So good. As always.
OMG! What a plot twist!! or is it? Congrats to Rui & Ai.
I hope there's one more extra for the lil' brother and the cousin!! ......I hope it exists...
PERFECT.
I was actually kinda hoping Daiki ended up with her instead of RUIRUI, but good for her, I guess.
Now, PLEASE, give Daiki a happy romantic ending(or beginning) too!!
Ayup. It was so nicely done that I can't begrudge her even though I was peeved at stuff she did.
So, happy endings all around huh.
