Someone on another forum pointed out something about the current chapter:
Childhood friend = Anno Shion.
Girl detective at the party said her name was = Aono Shin
Take the O from Shion and put it in Anno... Aono Shin.
The only thing I can think of is for letting our MC's sister to die. Why? I don't know.

My guess is that Anno has been through a very similar set of events as Hiroki following the initial Cross Act. He's simply overhearing part of a conversation she's having about it without context.
