The ending scenario was good to some point, other manga could've done better than this with this kind of ending (I'm still expecting for Aa!Megami-sama to have a really magnificient end in the future...still,the characters were far too realistic and that's always what makes the story bad, because real stories are always badass and never beautiful!
lately, most romance manga tend to have crappy endings, though, the best ending of those with realistic settings were the ones like "Living Game" (really good, whoever hasn't read it yet should do so) and "Maison Ikkoku". I'm still expecting some "good endings" for "Isuca" , "Golden Time" and "Gan-Kon", since the manga world needs more good endings :D
this was the first manga i had read which got me into manga, that was all more than a year ago...
you stop to think that they are the same age as you, anddddd...... nothing is happening in your life :/
While it may not have sold so well, it hooked me in and kept me wanting to read, even more than other series I like. I was pretty happy with the one-shot and I'm happy I waited for the last chapter before digging into the full series (I read it within a few days). I really appreciate the quality of the art, and the way the romances develop and deal with some difficult adolescent/adult issues. While the final chapters may have rushed to shore up loose ends, I felt good reading and finishing this series, despite difficult points along the way. For future readers/scanlators, Batoto doesn't have chapters 135-137. In the near future I hope to find more of Sasuga Kei's work.
@gundamgundam

I'm guessing *if* the ratings for GE were poor near the end of the series she was allowed to continue to attempt to revive interest in the series based on the goodwill of early volume popularity...just like the established veteran athlete who keeps getting chances with teams based on previous seasons instead of current ability.
Thanks for all the hardwork S2Scans, No Group, Zenyaku Red Hawk NEO and iMangaScans~...
You've all made me aware of Sasuga Kei's works~... Thank you very much. ^__^

i stuck with this since the beginning i dropped it here and there only to pick it up later on hoping that it would get better or at least stay at the same level of mediocrity it was already at but it just got worse and worse. im happy to see that its finished at last.
This manga honestly feels like a crooked taxi cab ride. What would normally take only 5 minutes to get from Point A to Point B has instead taken an entire day and during that time you get to see numerous car accidents as you ride.

:D

Thank god it's over!
after reading this 1½year back i didn't remember to much details on this manga, but i did remember i wasn't so fond in it. But after seeing it finished i took my time to try it out again. i Must say even if i do think the ending seemed a liiil rushed i enjoyed the read highly. i would even go as far as saying i can recommend it to all romance/drama lovers!

well... That hurt!! >.<

It's axed hard...

That's not surprising. What's really surprising is that it took the publisher 15 volumes to get it axed. Heck, the Japanese reviews for this were extremely mediocre and the french hated it as well, it seems looking at the response to the international version sold there. Also, I never saw this manga in any of the list of highest sold manga, and according to some french sources, volume 11 sold only 28,480 copies in Japan, when the magazine where it runs, Weekly Shounen Magazine has Kimi no Iru Machi that has consistently been in the list of highest sold manga and for example, Kimi no Iru Machi Vol.19 sold 86,172 copies in Japan. In fact, I believe GE was the lowest selling manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine, so I don't why it took so long to get axed, honestly.

I've been looking forward for the next Sasuga-sensei's work.

Well, if the manga was really axed then don't have your hopes up. Just look at Mizuki Kawashita the famous author of Ichigo 100%, after her manga Anedoki was axed, she was downgraded from Weekly Shounen Jump to Jump SQ 19.
I have finish reading this in one sitting. I must say it feels like a rollercoaster ride while i'm reading it. There are times when I felt happy and made me HNNNGG but most of the time i felt sad, despair and little betrayed. I agree with most of the comments the ending feels like rushed. But look at the bright side, the author gave as a happy closure not open one and I felt great after i reread the last chapter. Over all It's a great manga. It is 9/10 in my score cards. I've been looking forward for the next Sasuga-sensei's work.

I thank you to those scanlators who've been part of this manga. Thanks for bringing us this great manga. May God bless you.
thank you, and good night. *removes from follow list*.
it's been a good read. thank you, sasuga-sensei.
Wao. At least the ending was a GE for all of the characters lol.
Maybe I'll read the chapters I've skipped when I'm bored haha... or...just reread a true romance manga like bakuman instead

Spoiler

well... That hurt!! >.<

It's axed hard...
Yuki's father sent straight to the gutter...
Expected more from the father and more drama... alas... *sigh*
@sultan199999 she went abroad with izumi.
Finally the trolling is over......
wait a sec what happined with that thired girl that loved him
lol i remember this series, it used to have sports in the genre, but it was all a LIE!! and the synopsis was very misleading, 20+ chapters in and still no sports

i just came here cause i was curious about the ending
@kaitosan: actually if you've read all the chapters until this point, you might remember Yuki mentioning that she wanted to be a pediatrician and Seiji took up photography a while back. but yeah, this ending was obviously rushed. one chapter they're running away from Yuki's father and the next, it's 10yrs later and everyone's briefly running through what's happened since then. this is the most sudden hand brake resolution possible.
at least this troll finally ended.
eh for what the manga was becoming, the ending was pretty good. only skimmed through the last chapter due to the general dislike of the manga at this point, but at least it didn't drag on even more...
See Sasuga? That wasn't that hard to write.
its a good manga, but the ending was a bit rushed, i never knew yuki wanted to be a doctor, and utsumi to be a photgrapher,(i mean they were both into tennis and all, and they never talked about what they wanted to when they grow up) they did not even made a chapter where yuki's parents would try to find her and would still do anything to get her back, then comes the drama, this could go along well with "kimi no iru machi" or "pastel" . Even the other characters were shut fast, they did not gave them a chapter of what their progress was. But, oh well it ended, it was a Good Ending for utsumi and yuki, but its a bit lacking for me, thanks for the works everyone!
I liked this series. I'm one of the few who liked Shou and Yuki equally, and just wanted to see where it went. The ending was rushed. But not every manga can be a masterpiece like Bitter Virgin. After every series I've read, still holds #1 spot. I would put this in my top 5.
