Can anyone refresh my memory? Isn't the requirement of the "infection" supposed to be that you must be a loser? Isn't that why Haruka aimed the MC in the beginning & also the the other loser in his class? If so, then why did the whole class get infected, much less the teacher?

The guy at the beginning was Masahiko. You'll find out more about Maya in chapters 11&12. She looks transformed because she is transformed. Do you remember how she attacked Yamada while they were having sex in chapter 1?

The promise Masahiko made with Maya is either: a) a promise he made with real Maya, who he still regard as his only friend

The girl that wanted to be friends with Masahiko is Satou Chihaya from chapter 3. Maya is the girl that Yamada said he was dating in chapter 1.

Its Masahiko, Yamada is long gone. The promise Masahiko made with Maya is either: a) a promise he made with real Maya, who he still regard as his only friend; Maya and Haruka has internal conflict about whatever, so now she want to use him to get rid of Haruka

This series reminds me of "I am a hero" it starts out normal, then the paranormal sets in. Kinda crazy though how masahito has his own personal army now, and hopefully he doesn't kill the perv girl right away, she would make a funny second protag and a descent other to masahito. 

More than anything I just like the overall mystery of whats going on and whether or not masahito has superhuman strength that he can use. I'll definitely keep up with this one.
