Wait, that Konno guy drew porn as well? I never knew

Ch. 2 Pg 19 with the husband's (Konno Azure, he draws the Koe de Oshigoto magna which got an anime) comment. Ayami definitely has a chemical imbalance or something. I could understand the romance aspect of her social development being mucked up b/c of her elementary school blunders and the isolation of an all girls' education from middle school through college. But she has an equal amount of issues with non romance stuff. Getting depression and crying because a store is sold out of a popular New Years food item during New Years is not a thing a grown ass adult does.

I remember reading on Reddit about someone who cried at everything as a grown ass adult (like unable to find a matching sock or overcooking their eggs or forgetting to place an order for mild Chinese takeout instead of spicey) and finally went to the doctors and discovered they had an extreme B12 vitamin deficiency. They started taking supplements and the over-emotionness stopped.

So there must be an B12 deficiency chronic crisis over Japan. Apparently this kind of behavior is not that rare in young women over there, if you ask in cultural exchange circles there are several weird stories regarding japanese women with strange and childish behaviors.

The archetype of the japanese women implies lack of control of their emotions: they aren't strong, they can't control themselves, that's why they have to marry young and let the husband take care of her and sacrifice himself to support her through work because work implies suffering and women can't handle it. Of course is not like that anymore but still they are brought up with those behaviors somehow present.

Also is well known that because of how represive and close minded can be the japanese society there are a lot of people with a severe deficit of emotional intelligence. Otakus and hikikomoris are just extreme cases of that, but those behaviors aren't rare.

This cannot be real

It's easy to lift while reading this.

That was not a punchline I was expecting

This hits so close to home!

This feels a lot like one of those rare long-winded banters you have with friends/family members over banal stuff, except this one is about marriage. Really comfy, I like it.

I just realized... this manga is kinda similar to "How I met your mother" mmm...

That dodgeball manga lol

And rooting for side character couple?

Sounds like Tonari no Kashiwagi san and Hajiotsu

In any case can't wait for more...

Need to see who is her husband...

That E guy or another person...

Google is a huge spoiler if you want to know who she ends up with.

"Fanta-tivies"

That dodgeball manga lol

Extremely confusing use of alpha and beta aside, side characters are always better than main characters in manga, since they don't have to be as much of a trope. That's pretty much universal

Don't mind me, it's just a trope thing. The alpha couple is usually the two main characters. The beta couple is usually their best friends (or others). Take Barney and Betty Rubble in the Flintstones, or Miroku and Sango from Inuyasha. It's not so much to do with their personality as it's just a numbering system.

Love how ever her husbands readily acknowledges that yep, she cray.

Hm. I wondered how popular "beta" couples were with other readers.

Hm. I wondered how popular "beta" couples were with other readers. I almost always prefer when the story shifts away from the "alpha" couple in a given work and gives some of the supporting cast time to shine and/or get together. In fact, some of my favorite romance series revolve around multiple couples due to this habit of being disinterested in just the main two characters (which leads to many letdowns because the author is writing the story for those main characters, and not the background ones I find much more interesting).

I thought that was just me, but it seems not.

this will be interesting i wonder how she manage to get married to

in any case she also has a manga about her married life if any one is interested in stalking their life more lol

Is the arrow in her head meant to represent a cupid's arrow? XD

Ow... reboot scanlation, thanks Ciel and tap-trans mmm...~!

I'm interested.

If anyone is interested in working on this, helping out with redrawing or typesetting, send me a message.

I want to get this translated, but I only have time to translate.

A redrawer is definitely necessary; there is a lot of text over background.

Preferably, someone with prior experience, especially someone who had to deal with redrawing for shoujo manga before...

On a side note, the translation for c1 here by Tsuchinoko92 is frankly terrible.

Edit: Ciel Scans contacted me, we're working together now. If you want to help out, just check them out.

woah there...based on her own experience??this gonna be good...follow it for now mmmm~~~

I would be very grateful if someone picked up this manga. Is it complete in Japan? I'd search out and look at the raws, but this manga seems reliant on both art and text. This American here has no grasp of the Japanese language.
