Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

He took on some friend's massive debts? Some friend who'd skipped the country anyway? So he left his wife and kids destitute for what exactly, the importance of banks and/or yakuza getting their cash back? And then he didn't come back for what, more than ten years?! Who knows what could have happened to them? No. That is not all right. It is not sweet and "what a guy". It is stupid and irresponsible. Speaking as a dad myself, your duty to your family comes first, half-assed generosity to feckless friends comes a long way second.
So now he's back and he wants to just move back in, and all her friends want her to act like nothing ever happened? Bugger that. They should butt the hell out.
I'm not saying she shouldn't ever speak to the guy again, but this is way too fast. This guy shows up and nobody seems to care about her feelings, just the feelings of the guy who walked away from her for ten years plus, leaving her penniless and fatherless.

Suzuna is awesome, but somehow with You-kun gone and everything going well at Miyabigaoka, it's like the drama has disappeared from the story right now. : / Well, maybe soon it will pick up the pace and we'll get to see more advancements in the story as a whole.
