This is why I have trust issues regarding makeup
I've got 99 problems with this manga but the ART™ ain't one of them
the horse chan is cute
wow I love this. reminds me so much me crashing totally on salvia...
Oh, nice seeing this being done. The manga was pretty good around those chapters. Gotta get started reading the raws after volume 9 again. Currently 12 volumes for like 50 chapters, if I remember well.
The manga got even more wtf after like ch40 or something.
I think this manga would be 80% less confusing if the scene transitions weren't so whack.
Stupid schoolgirls always ruin everything, this is why mature women are best.
Do you not look at the information? This isn't written by OhGreat
Air Gear was great except for a few loose ends, and a lot of bullshit right at the end. Most of it was him getting involved in US politics for no real reason, I'm confused why he was even infatuated with it. We had Obama take over best girl and she was shafted for the rest of the manga pretty much. I also remember him putting in the "We are the 99%" meme in the manga as well. Just really strange stuff going on. So he then decided to work with the craziest writer in existence.
And personally I think this is actually pretty well written. You might not like how it's done (some stuff maybe getting glossed over more than it should), but fuck if I can't find a plothole. Like seriously read through this and point to where the plotholes are. It's all been pretty consistent, and when weird shit happens it gets pretty accurately explained later on. It's got an out-of-this-world premise with good characters so far. I mean how many other series talk about reality being a suspension bridge ready to collapse at any second?
She was absorbed by chieri some chapters ago and became part of her, so yes she was a monster to this point, dont know if it was reversible state.
There is something that has been bugging me for a time now, the biorgs seam awfully powerfull to the black caucasoid to take on, Uranus can pratically bring the dead back, spica that i presume with her lack of personality even being one of his close agents dont seam to be one of the most powerfull and man she packs a mean punch, so i am really doubtfull about the capacity of the hunters.
kiwa is too good for Fuuji.
Man, this is so fucking weird that I wish it was a H-manga. I mean, it's already this close to having full-blown porn scenes, so why not just go all the way? It would make it even better on my book.
Oh Great art is amazing, wish I could say the same about his writing skills, thankfully he's not the one behind the story this time, so even being this fucking weird it still very interesting with a shitload of potential to keep getting better.
Btw, it's almost 20 chapters in and I only have a slight idea of wtf is going on.
Oh Great is just the artist... Pretty sure the author sets the writing.
I personally adore this manga. It is weird, and completely out of whack, but at the same time most of these early chapters have to me seemed like they have set up the world and characters rather than focused on a single arc. There is a lot happening simultaneously, but I wonder if that hasn't more to do with the particular style of the manga rather than the story.
Take the fights for example. They are wild aggressive affairs, filled with surrealistic figures moving in ways they really shouldn't be. This is however something that has been going on since ch.1, and it is how the manga embraces the absurdity of its world that endears it to me. The world is wacky and weird, and so are the fights, characters and the story. It never went off the deep end, because it began as a fever dream and has continued as such.
Oh Great needs a writer. All of his series go off the deep end less than halfway through except for this one, which went under after less than 20 chapters.
I have a strange 'fetish' when comes to manga and art in general, i love when the artist draw characters in poses where i can see them from the top of their heads to the shoes they are wearing, but like most when the artist is capable of putting his character in complex perspectives.
As im not very good in english here is some examples from this chapter
And last but least, thanks timeless scan for picking this project, man in dont have enough words to descibre how im glad for someone translating this manga.
Man things got really weird at the beginning middle and end of that chapter.
its a long post and is just a my opinion about the problem that some people feel that the story is confusing, my english isnt all that so the grammar in some parts maybe... well more than cring worth so read only if you want XD
I swear I get more visual pleasure from each page of Oh Great's mangas than from the rest of the stuff i follow, combined. And i'm glad plot is finally starting to reveal itself, early chapters were too confusing.
I wonder whats 'a cup' there, and why its in hands of the one named after god of the sky.
In terms of understanding the story I'd recommend reading it in a manner akin to magic realism, where everything is both a metaphor and real simultaneously. Ask yourself about what is happening, and what it symbolises?
