The authors wanted to end it in 1 volume though. I'll take one volume and ending on a DECENT note than the authors taking another 5 years to make a shitty extra volume.

Yeah I can sorta understand that "logic" except for one thing... if he's a sadist he'd want her to give him a BJ... all she'd have to do is *bite* down as hard as she can.. it may not kill him but, he'll wish he was dead. And even if he used a gag or other things there's still a "limit" to what he could do before he got himself in trouble considering she does have family it's not like he can keep her locked up for any length of time before problems develop. And while love her and leave her is a "possibility" except for the fact that it would probably make him take a massive hit in reputation and for a businessman that can be fatal. "He married then divorced a 16 year old girl" ...not exactly a rumor most people can take. I mean yeah businessmen divorce all the time but, usually not when their partner is barely of the age of consent.
Dude was a total sadist. He wanted to break her who he perceived as a strong willed individual. That's why he picked her.
He'd probably play around with her a bit, then force a divorce. And you think he'd sleep next to her? He'd fuck her then kick her out. There would be no wedding nights or them spending time other than him having sex with her.

Well it was also the fact that he had the whole "If you don't leave her alone even if I go to jail I WILL KILL YOU" which threw him into a state of "okay... yeah this kid is crazy enough to do it" Yeah he may want to bang a 16 year old girl but, not if it comes with a death penalty attached.
I do have to wonder though with all his money why *that* 16 year old girl who doesn't even want him if his only desire is to be all pervy? Cause I mean.. what do you think she's just gonna go become a "dutiful wife" after you do her once? I mean its more likely she'd plunge a knife into your chest on the wedding night I don't know about anyone else... but, I'd rather be able to sleep safely every night *without* having to chain my own spouse up.
