School Shock

The main character is basically living in a city created solely to monitor him. Leaving his past aside, hes been through a lot and has his memory suppressed and controlled. He lives in this city and goes to school with his best friend. Enter the "vanguard". Liu-Liu, a retiring vanguard whos final mission is to protect the main character after a terrorist incident that happens in the first few chapters. As the story progresses more vanguards enter the story. Some from the government and some from an apparently "evil" organization. One of the vanguards becoming closely involved with the main character. Later, we find the reason for this controlled city as well as the true identity of his best friend, how unique the main character is, and another organization's plot which has yet to be explained in full detail. All we know for now is that this organization has ties with the main character's mother and aims to for something that involves the main character's uniqueness most likely.
