... Coming here because watching the anime and thought it was decent, but found out that this manga is much weaker than it's anime counterpart...
Just started reading this - How connected the original manga to the anime? Yomi looks more demon-like and well, she "disappeared" in the anime just after Kagura got the spirit. So I don't really get why she's here.
edit: Ahh, this explains why: http://vatoto.com/reader#1801ae8703a95d8e_13
- this series is a bit too dense. Each of the arc had enough stuff in it to make it a story in itself and was so different from one anther that they should be seperate to make it less convoluted and the continuous movement of one arc into the other makes it feel too quick and hard to retain.
-not rushed. the entire story was incredibly fast paced since the beginning just with less stuff to care about at the beginning. everything kept to its theme and the motivations were all explained so it was just a problem of maybe giving the story more room in the beginning to set the mood better to make it less dense.
Put off by the beginning? Hell with that! The second part pretty much fubar the story for me.
I disliked the anime, but someone mentioned that the manga is much better. So.. here I go.
Hmm.. the male protagonist is pretty much useless?
Anyone looking to begin reading this, this comment is very much true. The first couple volumes aren't by any means great. I might even struggle to call them good. (Though I can't completely recall the 2nd volume). Plot doesn't revolve around the MC (who was really kinda boring to being with anyways), but it keeps him appropriately involved and he does develop well. The story does get progressively better and has a solid ending as well. I definitely recommend reading the entire manga, even if put off by the beginning.
Depends on what the Humans do,they can either doom themselve by greed and hate.
Or they can save themselves by peace and love... (WOOT HIPPIES - still better than crazee religious fanatics...)
Batoto's follow button is a GODSEND.
but realllllly good!!
