It was bad.
Though you can predict the pairings even with just seeing the book cover, I'm also finding myself rooting for Taka-chanxHiyori, he soooo deserved to win her over! But the direction the characters are taking right now is just because of Arata-sensei trolling us and trying to lead us around!
Although there are also some where the childhood friend wins. Depends who appears in the manga first. In this case, it was object-of-fetish, so we can figure he's going to win.
But it's about the journey, not the destination. You always know how romance manga will end up (except maybe Cat Street); they're not whodunnits. I'm actually finding it more fun than I was expecting. The art is lively and the characters, while they aren't fleshed out yet, seem kind of interesting.
