Might I just say once more...how awesome this MC is? His personality is completely different from the standard shounen manga MC. His reactions are just perfect. To me, this manga is all about how awesome the MC is...then the hot chicks but that's it!

It's because villains in mangas always calculate based on their sure victory instead of calculating how to win in the first place. This girl is the same. She already knows that she will take all of their powers without having taking anyone's power yet :/

As we see - she wasn't.

But after I've begun to reread from ch1 (JFF) I begun to think that she was involved at - some time - in magic.
I mean: she has a grimoire, her parents died in an accident. This sounds to me like the magic did already go wrong once (but that is just assumption).
Maybe she, out of her love for Arata, gave him the Grimoire to save him from the breakdown phenomenon - maybe like it was done once with her?

That "world reconstruction" ability makes me wonder whether the real Hijiri is not to be found (and rescued from) exactly in that artificially created world...
