Nyanpasu~

Hi, I'm the proofreader for this with Evil Flowers. I'd just like to say that despite what some of you may think, we at EF actually do care about this manga. I apologize for the delay we had on it for a while there, but we should be making more progress with it in the near future.

The thing is, as with all scanlation groups, we all work on a volunteer basis, and we have lives and jobs and school and so forth. I myself own and operate a store and am sick much of the time. So I'm sure some people will say "well someone who's not sick or busy should work on it instead", but we have limited staff, and to be honest, I personally really like the project.

As Bobby W. said, I was the cause of the delay for a little while, as you can see in the comment he was referring to, here: http://www.evilflowers.com/index.php?/page/articles.html/_/ongoing-projects/non-non-biyori-r129. However, if I recall, I'd finished my proofreading of chapters 20 and 21 within a week of when I made that comment, but it was another month or so before we were able to get chapter 20 edited and QCed because we were short on staff (we actually released chapter 20 on the 10th of September, just for some reason it never got uploaded to Batoto).

I have several other projects plus work to deal with at the moment, but since the busy season with work has mostly ended for me now, I'm going to try to get the next 6 chapters proofread by the end of November (hopefully sooner, but we'll see). Most of those are already cleaned, and I believe we have some available typesetters at the moment, so unless something goes awry (if, for example, I end up super ill and frequenting urgent care for much of the latter half of the month like I did last year... but hopefully that won't happen again), you should get to see the end of volume 3 relatively soon (by the end of the year at the latest, but hopefully more like the end of November, assuming all goes as planned).

I hope you all understand, and I do sincerely apologize for the delays. >.< I just want you to know that we do like the project and are trying to make progress with it. ^^

No problem, thanks for all of your hard work~ :3
I'll be looking forward to more updates...! x3

Thanks for the chapter SaintScans - it's so nice to be able to read NNB again.

Thanks SaintScans. I can read the raws but I actually have to put effort into it, which detracts from my enjoyment of this otherwise calming series.

Thank you SaintScans for picking this up, I think? I actually checked Evil Flowers' site, and it seemed that it was the proofreader's fault for the very long delay or something. Though it has been over a week since the proofreader made that comment, so I'm not entirely sure if Evil Flowers is still seriously doing this one.

Koma turns out to be quite undependable ._."

Thank you SaintScans.  I'm just glad that somebody cares enough about this manga to actually do it.

I'm sorry for the bad redraw, Our cleaner/re-drawer does not have any experience in redrawing >.>. And sorry if there's any mistranslation.

Volume 7 was released on July 23. It included an OVA.

raws:

Uh, I think someone messed up and uploaded the 11th Anthology chapter here by accident, someone might want to move it... xD;

Nvm, seems like someone noticed already~

I don't get it. Is it really dangerous for two people to ride motorcycle together?

Depends. It's not actually a motorcycle in the common sense but a scooter or moped. They're usually designed to accommodate one person (looking at Candy Store's seems to suggest it's a one seater) and it's illegal for more than one person to ride on one if there isn't enough designated seating. She's just being safe so Renge doesn't fall off and get hurt.

Edit: Oh man, just thought I'd mention for any one curious, seems last month it was announced a second season of the anime had been greenlit. I cannot wait.

I think Kaede doesn't want to ride it with Renge cause she afraid Renge gonna punching her or bother her while she ride the motorcycle

A really great manga.  It makes me want to move to the Japanese countryside, plant rice and vegetables, live under a camphor tree (a la Totoro), eat nabe and listen to koto music.

Nyanpasu

miss this anime already ;_;

Seriously... Nothing is filling the void left in my heart after Non Non Biyori finished airing... Wish more of the manga was available at least...

As I was confused by 17.6, I decided to look it up. It's actually a crossover with another one of Atto's manga, Koakuma Meringue. As shown, it does have Hikage in it, so it might take place in the same setting, or a parallel one, as the chapter implied.

Just putting this out there, so no one will get confused over this.

Poor Hikage, after coming back home from such a long time.

Caught up with manga so far and got a great amount of laughs. I can't wait for anime to air now!

Mm... 17 was surprisingly sweet.  And a new character in the extra.

It was a good day today.

Thanks EF.

so sad :(

Spoiler

Anime adaptation by Silver Link coming in the fall? My body cannot wait.

...So I'll reread the series.

When I came to this page...

Descritption: "Elementary school student Ichijou Hotaru has moved with her-"

Gender and age confirmed, followed with loli-tastic anticipation.
