"isekai" is a genre where the MC traveling to "another world", just like its literally meaning. "where" and "when" are not matters at all.
thus, this series is not actually "isekai" if the MC just went back to the past.
Isekai means "another world", it doesnt mean time travel that is a entirely different thing, for starters medieval Europe didnt had Dragon Quest UI that pop-up showing powerlevels, something that is far too common in Isekai.
A example of Isekai into a Japanese setting would be Oda Nobuna no Yabou.
Isekai just overuses Dragon Quest style fantasy to the point it stop being funny, not all do ... Zero no Tsukaima didnt do then as more recent Isekai do, I guess "his power level is over 9000" is just a very lazy and convenient way to express someone as "skilled" without having to shown then as skilled.
I'll follow gladly but seeing how it went for chapter 1, let's hope it won't get taken down ...
To be more precise: "isekai" is going from Japan to medieval Europe whilst "time travel" is going from Japan to somewhere in Japan's history.

BTW, time travel and isekai is completely different things. Isekai is mostly lazy and time travel is unavoidable plothole - get your math right.

The infiltration part is fun but it would have been nice if the guy looks more like a lady, no halfway bullshit. Even the beefy guys are sexier than him.
Interesting thing about idioms... uphill is also not a good thing.
