| Description: | The protagonist is a guy who is among the stupidest of the stupidest in the school. In this school your grades can, under the supervision of teachers, take a virtual form to do battle! However, if you leave an examination midway, you get zero marks. A bright and cute girl, Mizuki Himeji, had a high fever during her examination. Despite her potential to be the second highest scorer in the level, she obtained zero marks for having left due to her illness and is thus banished to the worst class, Class F. Grades mean nearly everything. For Class A: They have a smart-looking teacher, a plasma TV as big as the entire wall as their blackboard, personal laptops, personal air-conditioners, refrigerators, adjustable seats and all kinds of different appliances. Within the refrigerator, there are all kinds of drinks and snacks. Their ceiling is made of glass, the wall lets them put up high-class drawings and plants. As for Class F (the worst class): They have Japanese desks and seat paddings. Their blackboard is dirty and there's even no chalk! Someone complains the legs of his desk are broken, so the teacher asks, "Didn't we distribute some glue to stick wood together? Glue it back yourself later." Another one complains the wind is blowing in from the broken window. The teacher says, "I got it. I'll apply for plastic bags and super-glue to fix it later." There are spider webs everywhere, not a patch of the wall is clean. A unique moldy smell spreads across the entire room; it must be from the old tatamis used to tile the floor. Welcome to Class F. The protagonist feels displeased at such an arrangement; he seeks help from his friends to try to make a change through invoking war! Watch out, they have entered... the zone.
Of course. Does anyone here think she, Himeji or even Shouko can hold a candle to Hideyoshi in a swimsuit competition? It's unfair, really.
Well the manga is still going, but considering this is the start of vol. 6 apparently and we're still in 1st season content and there are only 10 volumes so far I'd say that it's probably still just behind the anime. That's assuming that every episode was from the actual LN and not something the production company made up.
Of course considering that there probably won't be a third season of the anime (there was only 1 year between seasons and it's been more than 2 years since the 2nd season) and the light novel is complete we'll have to rely on the manga to show us to the end. At least until someone finishes translating volume 12 of the LN on Baka-Tsuki lol
Watched the anime of this already, didn't know it was a manga as well. Does the manga go past the anime or is it pretty much at the same point?
Actually they did both. The pool episode was in the first season and took place prior to the amusement park. The beach was the first episode of the 2nd season.

after watching the animation (both seasons and ovas + BDextras) i was wondering how akihisa sister was bringed into akihisa life (he was living alone at the beginning) so i finally got the answer to that...

About the anime...
There is a second season as well
The second season has a LOT less focus on the class A vs class F rivality and instead more focus on the relationships of the people there
Favorite moments?
We got them alot, but if I had to pick, then it'd be when Shouko, Himeji and Minami pull an "overly attached girlfriend"
Season 1 favorite moment?
Well, at the end of the episode where they end up distributing the questions for the upcoming test. The part in the epilogue where the class rep of class B gets to eat Himeji's cookes... Priceless

Nonetheless, a very good manga that contradict the the 'Baka' meaning in the title, it's brilliant.
