Description: | Magical girls - we were the ones who took out the boss of the enemies who were trying to wipe out mankind. In most stories, that's where the story ends. Happy ending. However, in the real world, there is no "ending". - Mahou Shoujo Tokushuusen Asuka, Chapter 1 Due to the invasion of Disas, enigmatic creatures of soil from the land of the dead, mankind, who was on the verge of crisis, was saved by the efforts of magical girls who had obtained a mysterious magical power. Three years later, new incidents suddenly occur, tearing apart the normalcy of the girls who had each returned to their normal lives. The saviors of humanity, those magical girls called "the Legendary 5 (The Magical Five)" now live each day fighting for their lives, even as they are trifled with by fate... |

Yeah. Back when America didn't have a gun culture.
The vast majority of manga/anime/light novel/web novel fans get 99% of their knowledge from the anime version/discussion/tropes. That naturally leads to confusion when the anime version is very different/edited compared to the other versions/the source material.
tldr; Anime is all, damn the manga.
So you haven't yet found "pretty bell"?
This...is the best thing ever. The only ever magical girl anime I ever watched was Madoka. I can't stand that fluffy, sugary crap.
I know anime and manga aren't supposed to be about realism, but there's just something appealing about a work that takes the subject of magical girls *seriously* and attempts to apply a little realism to it. Followed so hard.
I'm getting a distinct yandere vibe off Kurumi..."Number one friend" indeed.
It would fit in with the anti-magic girl theme. No true and noble friendships.
He even commented on the rumor saying "If I get the chance to work on this then I'll try my hardest to make it a happy go lucky magical girl show just lik-... nothing like Madoka."
Instead of "Venus", I think her mahou shoujo name is supposed to be "War Nurse"
Also, Is Urobutcher involved in this somehow?
EvilCO executive:"So, our buisnes-plan: we gona make our elites do a job, which every regular goon can do alone, then we will steal a magical bomb and gonna threat the world government, untill they'll pay us ONE MILLION DOLLARS!"
Wait, so there was a time when magical girls were all about fluff and sparkle?
Well to his credit They literally had to hide his name from the anime or people wouldn't know what's up :3 Hell even when they found out he put out some bull about wanting to make a happy go lucky magical girl series
It's what usually happens when the otaku crew cannibalizes a theme. And doing a lot of tentacle hentai of it too. Keep it extreme and edgy, it's good for the business.
Gone are the days where Mahou Shoujos are the symbols off fluff, romance, and quirky but funny villains. Nowadays they have to deal with all kinds of shit to die a dog's death, with very little time for sugars and flowers in between.
Man, I was worried that everytime I click a new page someone is going to die.
Such is how I read a series with a "Tragedy" tag on it.
Magical girls with PTSD.
This promises to be gruesome. Even more than Mahou Shoujo Of The End or Mahou Shoujo Site.
Followed.
Thanks a certain 'butcher' man for that...
But actually, even since "Sailor Moon" age, Magical Girl genre always has dark tone underlying them.
Sheeeesh, magical girls these days... I feel sorry for them
Thank you so much Ravens Scans for picking this series up! I had been searching for a group to pick this series up for almost a year now so I really appreciate it again thanks a lot guys!
I spy with my little eye... two death flags.
Biting off more than it can chew.
so much promising.... so much tragedy... so much PLOT.... FOLLOWT!
