This is probably not going to happen and probably not the case, but wouldn't it be interesting if Ren traveled to the past and then became the Sword Emperor Elline. Then at the age of 25 traveled back into the future. Encore was actually an item that would send him back into the Past and Future to become Elline. That would make an interesting story. He is actually in a predetermined time loop and He merely went to the past to become Elline and start everything so that he would fight some other threat in the future. That would be a good use of the name of Encore for the memoir that is supposed to be the greatest treasure in the world.

If you're speaking about chapter 1, page 37, that is a correct method of localization.
 
Another way they could have done it would be to do it like most official translations go with shounen anime, put the furigana first with the name second. So "Bow humbly before me - GRAVITATIONAL COLLAPSE" in this case. Dash can also be a comma, I've seen both ways and they both work.
 
There's also the rare, but still valid, option to put the translation directly across. As in, put "bow humbly before me" vertically in the speech bubble, with "gravitational collapse" vertically next to it. Looks absolutely terrible, but it's still a valid localization.
 
For reference, read up on what furigana is. Example:

Here, he’s saying 妖精の尻尾, which would normally have the furigana of ようせい (yousei, fairy) and しっぽ (shippo, tail). But the author decided to give it a CUSTOM pronunciation instead: フェアリーテイル (fearii teiru, Fairy Tail).

I really love the author and the other series. Too bad there's lack of interest from translators.

This is a novel adaptation and other series includes Hyouketsu Kyoukai, Fukanzen Ilis, and Tasogare.

Well, I didn't gather that much from the synopsis (that I probably didn't even read properly) or the first chapter. I just read the first chapter and I immediately thought of Sekirei's art.

lol. i just started reading manga again after about a year off because this trope burnt me out. This and the average guy who is secretly a badass even though everyone around him is supposed to be superior one.

the magazine this one is serialized in, Comic Alive seems decent for its past adaptions of other LNs, so at the very least it should run longer than many other LN promos.

oh this is only a promo. that's disappointing.

Maybe it's gonna be some weird time travel paradox thingy where Ren get's trained up by the princess' becomes a hero, goes back in time and actually is the hero of legends. Would be fun to read something like that, I haven't read the LN so maybe I'm right maybe I'm wrong would rather keep myself in suspense.

I really don't know why, but sometimes the art in this manga reminds me of Sekirei, even though it's not similar at all.

They cut out some of the lines about Fear from the novel. =(

She's less flirty in the manga. "Close contact with Ren like this is simply my duty as an Angel."

The dialog between Kylse and Fear looks like it will be fun.
